I hope whoever take this location over can turn it around… Starting with Management. I attempted to get the mangers attention however he never acknowledged me. However when the young female manger assisted me that’s when he decided to acknowledge me and offer assistance… The service was terrible walk by it’s self, the waiter wasn’t available neither of two times she was needed. Food was forgotten as a previous server and front house manger im ashamed of the laziness that I witnessed on such a slow night of 8 total tables

Managers are spineless and exert no control over the staff. The kitchen is allowed to blast rap music through the window, so if you're playing a song on the jukebox, you won't hear it because you'll have to listen to two songs at the same time. It's too loud and annoying. The floor is constantly slippery. They don't know how to properly clean oil and grease off of a floor, it's pretty ridiculous and dangerous. Use baking soda or kitty litter to absorb the excess oil, then mop the area with warm water and some Dawn dish-soap in it. The restroom is usually a pigsty. The air conditioning and fans don't work.

Despite the restaurant not being busy, we waited 17 minutes just to get our drinks. Then we had to wait an additional 28 minutes for our food—only to be served cold, stale meals. Completely unacceptable, especially given the high prices.
We made the drive expecting quality and service, but instead left irritated and unsatisfied. This place has gone downhill. What a joke

I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the experience my husband and I had at your Schererville, Indiana location.
From the moment we arrived, the service was unacceptable. Despite the restaurant not being busy, we waited 17 minutes just to receive our drinks, followed by 28 more minutes for our food—which, when it finally arrived, was cold and stale. This is not what I expect from a nationally recognized brand, especially considering the prices you charge.
We brought the issue to the manager’s attention. She apologized, stated she spoke to the kitchen, and promised to personally bring out fresh food. We appreciated that effort—until it never happened. We sat waiting another 27 minutes with no food, no communication, and no follow-up. After a total of 34 minutes of being ignored, we left.
This experience was not just disappointing—it was insulting. We made a deliberate choice to return based on a positive visit months ago, only to be met with poor service, cold food, and a lack of professionalism. I sincerely hope this is not reflective of the standards your brand upholds.
I would appreciate a call back to discuss how this situation will be addressed. This was a waste of our time and money, and I expect better from Hooters.

The restaurant was dirty. The food was awful! Got sick later that night. Waitress was really nice.
This is the first time I've been to this location and it is very different than the ones in Illinois. From the atmosphere to the menu ita totally different. Love the different choices this location has. My husband and I ordered their Buffalo shrimp to share as an appetizer. It was a good but the hot sauce and the 3 mile Island sauce tasted different than what we are used to from the other Hooter's locations we've been to. Also, my husband ordered their double burger which was advertised as 2 thick patties but when he got them they were more like smashburgers. Overall, we would definitely come back again and the service was great. Erin was our server and she was very attentive and told us about their wing special on Mondays which we wouldn't have known about otherwise .

Had dinner with my wife and good friend, 1 item wasn't processed in time w the others, and manager on duty came to the bar and apologized for the mistake and made it complementary and did it in a professional manner, greatly appreciated thank you!👍

I came in on Saturday to pick up a to-go order, and when I got home, I noticed it was much spicier than what I usually order. I called the store and spoke with Hailey, who assured me that she would have my order replaced. However, when I returned to get the remake, I was told there was no documentation of our conversation. As a result, my order was considered a waste, and the manager on duty denied the replacement.
