CLOSED!!!
If I could leave zero stars, I would. Very, very, very sad to find out this location is no longer open for business after taking a 30 minute drive. I was hoping to get my birthday entree from this location. First, they closed down the Orland Park location and now this location. I hope they don’t continue to close because I really do enjoy the food and drinks from this franchise.
The food was very refreshing and delicious. Great ambiance and service. Would definitely come here again.
Went here for my cousins birthday with family. It was 26 of us. Everyone food was delicious! Our waiter was attentive & friendly. I didn’t take pictures of everyone food just a couple of pictures. I will differently be back
Had the best wait staff ever. My sister loved her meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. I had the loaded potato and stuffed mushrooms. All of our food was cooked perfectly, it wasn't over seasoned. My nephew Elijah loves Chicken Alfredo, my other sister had Salmon with a baked potato and green beans as well. Thanks for a happy satisfying meal. I'm sorry for not taking pictures.
I had been to Houlihan's in 2021, and wasn't impressed. BUT, I am happy to say that my experience this past July 17th was outstanding. The service and food was great. I will be back.I believe that in 2021, there were many factors that could have affected service, mainly "just coming out of Covid". The restaurant was short staffed, 2021.
Food has definitely gone down hill. Super salty on 3 different meals and mediocre in taste at best. Not worth the price listed. Drinks still on point. Wait staff is friendly but slow. This once thriving restaurant is practically ghosted. Host needs a lesson or two in hosting. Schererville Houlihans...get it together!
I really like this restaurant the witness was nice and I Definitely will be back and I will recommend someone to come there as well
Mid 60's couple, having begun our day in South Dakota, overnighting it in Hammond as we traveled east on the last leg of a two-week road trip. Houlihan's just a few minutes from the motel, and we were looking for tasty fare and a nearby screen on which the Stanley Cup Finals game. It had been a few years since we were last in a Houlihan's, and we were glad that we stopped here. We had a table in the bar area, and bartender / server Elizabeth was excellent....patient, helpful, available. We enjoyed the Bleeding Rose cocktail a great deal, and she was kind in writing out the recipe. Further, the sweet potato fries which accompanied the fish tacos were cold and limp....one brief conversation with Elizabeth and we soon had hot fresh tasty sweet potato fries to enjoy. The other entree was the Sedona shrimp pasta, which had a plethora of tender shrimp, and enough spiciness to enjoy (so often there is not enough "heat" with allegedly spicy hot dishes). Our shared appetizer was the potsticker dumplings, which were served hot and with flavorful sauces. Dessert was Gooey Butter Cake with ice cream...yummm! In view of the quality and flavorful fare, along with the great service, the value was quite reasonable.
My family and I visited this establishment on 5/31/2022 Table 11 and server 6006-Julia. I never been to an establishment where majority of the food was very tasteless and not cooked properly. We order apps, main dishes, drinks, and kids choices. Out of everything that was served the only good taste was my children French fries and that was the only fresh tasting. This bill would have been close to $100 but it definitely was not worth it. I even tipped my waitress Julia. She deserves it but not that restaurant. For starters we placed an order for chicken nachos and spicy chicken and avocado egg rolls. When we received our food the chicken nachos was cold but it was like as if they been sitting out in the back for a while even though Julia brung them to us right away. I never expected anyone to mess up on nachos but it was horrible. The eggs rolls was sweet but then slightly a hint of spice. I didn't understand because they advertised it as spicy chicken and avocado egg rolls so I have no clue where the the sweet taste came from. My children had cheese bread pizza and mac. Didn't think cheese bread would be so tasteless and it was on this hard bread. Ewwwww. Please don't get me started on the Kraft Mac and Cheese which by the way their menu wasn't even updated because they had advertised something completely different. I almost forgot, the fries weren't just only the good tasting but there soups were good. The French onion soup delicious. I can't recall my spouse soup though but no complaints there. We then got our main dishes and my spouse had the lemon chicken piccata over alfredo noodles and I had the stuffed chicken with mashed potatoes and string beans. We literally received our food and my spouse eats but has this most disturbing look on his face. My spouse asks me to try his and I did. When I tell you that I could barely cut into his chicken it was ridiculous. The chicken didn't even taste like chicken. It taste as if it was warm up in a microwave and the noodles taste like rubber. Sauce was no season and for the most part everything was distasteful. I proceeded to try Mines and at this point very skeptical. I cut into my chicken and once again it was to cut in to. As a matter of fact Julia watched me take my first bite into my meal. Very horrible and I tried to even eat the mash potatoes but that taste like some fake potatoes something like paste. I don't know who was the chef on duty but yall need to re-evaluate and get rid of that person because I never in my life came to a restaurant where majority of the food was horrible, not cooked properly, cold, and tasteless/bland. I don't even see how this establishment is still in business. Health department needs to come check them out because that was by far the worst experience I ever had. Drinks was ok even though I ask for a dirty martini with 3 olives. She served me Ketel One liquor instead of premium liquor but hey at this point I was over it. NEVER AGAIN WILL I TRY THIS PLACE. BEWARE. EAT AT OWN RISK!!!
Restaurantji Recommends
Food was okay, but kind've expensive for small portions. Our waitress wasn't in the best mood either. You're suppose to be able to pick your cheese and dressing for the salads. Well she didn't let us choose and gave us whatever she wanted too. Not sure I will be eating there again, plenty of restaurants in the area that have bigger portions that don't cost as much.
I was there yesterday.

Our waitress Cyanne hope I didn’t misspell your name sorry was soo polite and very knowledgeable about the menu and what was good and the king island ice tea she recommended omg so so good!!!!
