Myself and my family have been going to Jalapenos for years. The food is great, especially the delicious sauces that come with the chips and various dishes. Service has also been very good. I really don't have anything critical to say- there are few spots in NWI that are as consistently good as they are.

We were charged $3 extra for sides on three separate that were supposed to be included with the meals, and the waiter was nowhere to be found. So, we paid it because we were sick of waiting. Terrible.

This place was your typical NWI Mexican restaurant, except that this place is dirty. Dust and cobwebs on all the fixtures, this place needs a good cleaning from top to bottom. I wonder how clean the kitchen is.

Good food, but sadly, there is no more Sope dinner, which taints my appreciation, as this was my favorite place BECAUSE of the sopes. This will likely be my last visit now, but to be fair, the other food is acceptable and tasty, assuming you aren't disgruntled about the now absent Sope dinner.

Atmosphere was reminiscent of an authentic Mexican restaurant. Service was top notch, quick and friendly. The food was amazing, great flavor and genuine. Highly Recommended. A+++

Felipe was our waiter and he was very friendly and treated us very nicely. There was no wait, we were seated upon entering the restaurant and our table was taken care of right away. The food overall was delicious. I am removing one star due to the 18% auto gratuity policy which I did not know about and do believe is unfair. I had already given the waiter a nice cash tip for his great customer service before I paid and wish he would have told me about it before I did that. Otherwise everything else was great.

The appetizers, meals, and margaritas were all fabulous. Our server was wonderful as well. We will be back. They said live music was going to be playing and it did not even start by the time we were done with our meal so we were disappointed in that, but everything else was fabulous!

I dont get to this area Rt.41 very often. But when I want a Mexican lunch or dinner I can depend on Jalapeños to deliver a consistent product and great service. I haven't been there in over a year and they were just as good as I remembered. Keep up the good work Jalapeños ?.
