Had a fantastic waitress and my flaunts were outstanding. Wife assumed her tacos would be crispy corn but they were on the soggy side. Was not aware that there was a standard tip applied to the bill. We tipped 20% on top of it. Saw no signage that would patrons aware of tip being included in bill.

The staff were super nice, the food was amazing, and the food was also served quick.Parking: I was able to get parking directly in front of the restaurant when I came around 5:00, but when ever I go later, around 7:30 to 8:30 I get parking on the side of the restaurant.

To start off, Jalapenos has always had really good food. Tastes great, hot and fresh. Weirdly enough, they might have the best french fries in the entire region, despite being a Mexican place. However, as their prices go up, their service is failing. They changed their menu and oddly removed a la carte items. My wife always ordered the same thing - two steak tacos. We went this weekend and the server refused to sell her two steak tacos. The waitress insisted that the only way to get tacos was by ordering the three taco dinner, and forced her to order a side, which is how we got to the french fries I mentioned above. My wife's margarita also came out unfrozen, just mix and tequila.This leads us to the next problem - the server basically disappeared / ignored us the whole time we were there. Never got a water refill, never came to bus any of the dirty dishes. My wife just ended up drinking her warm margarita because nobody ever came back to see if anything needed attention. We sat there with completely empty dirty dishes until we flagged her down for the check, and even then the dirty plates sat there until we left.To add insult to injury, they now add a mandatory 18% tip to all checks. I was going to tip 12% because of the horrible service. But the 18% gratuity was already on there when the check came. Maybe that's why the waitress put absolutely zero effort into anything, she knew she would get paid regardless. I wasn't going to argue over a few bucks, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. We probably won't go back any time soon.

Rustic decor. The food was good, flavors and portion were as expected. We ordered two burrito dinners with rice and beans. The bill came to $50 and change.We thought something was wrong until we were told there's an 18% AUTOMATIC SURCHARGE ADDED TO EVERY BILL. No Mas. Greedy owners are losing local customers. There are many options just as good if not better for less.

The food here is banging. I forgot to take a pic. However, I recommend the fajita combo of chicken, steak, and shrimp. I promise it won't disappoint!!
First time going here, and we will definitely come back again. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, great drinks, delicious food. The cherry pop margarita was new to me, and I loved it. They went down smooth and fast. The chicken tortilla soup was great, clear broth vs. the usual red broth but still yummy. The chips and salsa had a nice flavor. The burrito was large, and the steak fajita quesadilla was flavorful. We will definitely be back

My wife and I ate there 03/20/24. Both of us had chicken dishes and spent the whole night with severe food poisoning. Horrible abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, the whole nine yards. Our waitress was very good and friendly but the food about killed us.

They automatically took an 18% gratuity for the 4 of us. Gratuity should be at the discretion of the customer badrd on customer service. Just bringing the food to the table, not checking on us, and having to wait for fifteen minutes to see her again to get our check paid was ridiculous. We will not be back. There wasnt hardly anyone there, and now I know why.
