Food was great for the price we paid. I had a chicken strawberry salad as a lunch special. The chicken was delicious and not over cooked. The service was excellent as well considering they were understaffed for the lunch hour.

Great experience server Sabrina awsome, steaks cooked to perfection, shrimp lobster showder a must try if you like seafood, the Tonion onion peddles with dipping sause deliciousness, spicy chicken bits Wow, my NY strip was tender well seasond, recommend you try this place if have not already, I will be back ?

First visit to this location in Schererville that opened a year or two ago and we had a great experience! It was much better than our last Longhorn visit in Merrillville. The atmosphere was cozy but lively at the same time. For lunch at 1 PM during the week they were really busy, but our waitress was great and very attentive to our needs. I had the chicken sandwich lunch special with a side of fries and my mom had the cheeseburger with fries and we also the AMAZING shrimp appetizer which is our go to whenever we visit Longhorn. IYKYK!! It was my first getting the chicken sandwich and I was pleasantly surprised with how big it was! Popeyes don't have nothing on this sandwich lol! It was fried perfectly, crispy, warm soft bun and the ranch dressing that was on it was EVERYTHING!!!!! And it was only $9!! My moms burger was overcooked so they redid it for her and it was cooked to perfection. And the strawberry lemonade is to die for lol! All in all, the meal was great! Definitely coming back to this location!

We started out well. Our food came out the server asked who had rare and who had medium? She gave us our meal. My husband ate his and enjoyed it. I took one bite of the steak and spit it out. It tasted like rubber. My husband had eaten his steak. He was almost done before I realized we had gotten each others steak.I was sick at my stomach went into the bathroom truck stop gross. Like urine on the floor and toilet seat. There was a lot on floor I had to walk out. I then asked to talk to the manager. The lady glared at my husband, ten minutes later coming to table. She had an argumentative attitude while asking questions. I just wanted it taken off the bill. The manager Patricia Strohfeldt needs a new line of work. She is insulting to the guest. I'm already upset with my meal. She took 8 dollars off my bill. Is that all they are valuing their steaks.It's super sad. I could've just left unhappy with a food mixup by mistake but instead I left pissed off to the point I'm taking time to write this review. The appetizer was really great and our server was great also. I will not go back to these restaurant because the management attitude. I did not come to her in a negative attitude or was anything but polite. I was embarrassed she was speaking so loudly to me. I just wanted to leave.

Came here Sunday for my father’s 62nd birthday dinner with family. We had to wait almost 2 hours but when we finally got to sit down it was worth it. Our waitress Avery was amazing and so kind. She helped us with the menu and more. We even gave her and the manager come cake because the service was superb! Would definitely come back again.

The food was awesome. The service has much room for improvement. My real issue was the bathroom smelling like straight bleach and the baby changing station is about to fall off the wall. It was very hot in the entire building. Next time we go there it will be a to-go order.

I gave 4 stars only because the hostess did not have herself together nor did she have any order about things, even with a text message system.. Once we finally got seated, our waitress was also the mgr, Danni. They were short staffed but She was top notch! I don't have any complaints about her or the food. She gave good recommendations and was quick, courteous and attentive. My husbands steak was flavorful, juicy and cooked perfectly. My ribs were tender and the sauce was really good, the asparagus was tender too. It wasnt that long before closing but we received the full, unrushed experience. Definitely will return!Parking: Plenty of parking, all pretty much close to the door.Kid-friendliness: Definitely a family restaurant.
