This is my local Lou's location and I have always had an amazing experience. Recently -8/23 I ordered a deep dish Italian beef and peppers and it was excellent. Easily best pizza I have ever had from a Lou Malnati's location (and I have had many!) Service has always been great also. I recommend this location and this pizza!

The best deep dish in town. Now I normally do thin crust being the Chicago native I am, but when I do have a taste for deep dish it Uncle Lou all the time

To go only which should have been the first red flag. Love Lou Malnati’s dine in restaurants but like frozen pizza! Avoid!

This is not the Lou’s I remember from Chicago on Wrightwood. The tomatoes purged all its water and just made the top soupy. The butter crust had no flavor, needed salt. Also the sausage patty shrunk and receded about 1-2 inches from the crust. For the price you’d think they would have done a better job.

Pizza was ok but we like Giordano's better. It's not terrible, just not what we like.

I ordered a medium sausage thin crust. Pie was overcooked, dry, hardly any sauce at all, just awful. All while eating, I just kept thinking it tastes like a store bought frozen but pricier! I definitely will not order again especially with so many other pizza places in the area
Very disappointed

Ordered a large deep dish pizza and cheesy bread. The sauce was bland on the pizza and in general was VERY thin! And the cheesy bread was cheese thrown on half a French bread. Not worth the 60 bucks and won't be ordering from there again.

I had a sausage deep dish pizza and the crust was really hard. That's usually my favorite part of the pizza. Sauce, cheese, sausage – all were good as usual with that crust...

I am a loyal Lou Malnati's fan, but this location in Schererville is the worst Malnati's I've ever been to. From the pizza, to the service, it's been bad. The pizza served at this restaurant is nothing like the pizza served at the Chicago area Lous. I've had pizza from here made incorrectly, meaning they didn't stack the ingredients in the correct order. I've had pizza from here that has at least a 4 inch gap from the edge of the crust to the toppings. I've had poor customer service as you wait for curbside only to find out they're not doing curbside that day for whatever reason. Any one can have a bad day, but when it happens all the time, it's a pattern. Enough is enough. I can no longer patronize this establishment. It is surprising because I've never had a bad experience or pizza from ANY other Malnati's location...And I've been to at least 9 other locations over the past 32 years, starting from my first ever visit at the Lou's in River North. The Schererville location needs to do better. Period.
