Today was the 1st time trying Mcalister-s and it's definitely my last in the Schererville location , when I walked up to the register , the gentleman behind the counter didn't even ask for my name and proceeded to say it was gonna be a little wait .The lady behind the counter wearing the hat seemed like she was bothered that customers were coming in because she didn't stop to acknowledge us standing in line while she was worried about making Tea and filling her Tea jugs. The other customer stood in Line 3 minutes before tell the lady she was ready to order and the lady behind the counter told the gentleman ok she's ready to order , but the gentleman was bagging an order. 1st impressions always matter.

The sandwich was really good very flavorful, and the sauce is really good however the potato did not have a lot of toppings on there so it would have been a little bit better if they had a little bit more on there because the potato is not seasoned just by itself. Overall I give it a 8 out of 10.

Food/ Salads 🥗 always fresh, as well as sandwiches.

The staff here is the worst! Don’t go here. Go to a better one down road .
At this one they act like you’re annoying them and they just ignore what you ask for and give you whatever they want.
The cashier argued about what I wanted and the crew in the back are just hanging out and ignore customers standing at front. When we were here we saw a hand full of customer get mad and leave because of the service .
Horrible customer service . Very rude and standoffish

I’ve been calling for 3 days to try to some resolution abojt my order not being delivered to me. They don’t answer the phone but they have the audacity to be open…. Why would you have an open establishment and no phone line ??????? Never placing an order here again

My first experience with McAlisters was in Merrillville and it was so great. Then I found out there was this one, much closer to where I live and I couldn't wait.

I have now been here three times over the span of maybe 8 months and the service has been the same each time. The people behind the counter seem bothered that you're there, and act like you're interrupting their hang out. and they're very unfriendly.

This most recent visit the portions have shrunken severely and the prices have went up (which is expected these days unfortunately) however I was met with the same attitude when I arrived. In the middle of ordering the girl kept turning around to talk to the girl in the kitchen about her order and how she wanted it (I'm assuming she was getting food made for her for her break or something). Every time she asked me a question and I started to answer she would turn and answer their questions about her order and then she'd ask me to repeat myself. She also wore her air pods and couldn't hear me well, which was just a side frustration. I stayed polite, because even tho it's frustrating Im not trying to be confrontational.

After all of this, we finally got our food and my sandwich was the size of maybe 2 pickle spears. Lol. The total for the meal pictured (times two) was $38.

Will probably stop giving this location my money and save it for a trip to Merrillville.

We had a wonderful experience. Food was very good and the service was the best we've ever seen. The employee’s went above and beyond and out of their ways to serve us and make our visit the best. We will be returning again in the future!

Good food at a decent price. However, staff have a tendency to ignore customers who walk in and chat amongst themselves. Honestly, seems rather unprofessional and lazy. Take that as you will if you're dining in or picking up. C grade.

Staff was friendly, food came out quick, but it wasn't "big portions," like they advertise. I think there was more tomato than chicken salad on my sandwich. Mac and cheese was ok. Brownie was good.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a big ramp area, but the doors are not automatic. Good space inside, and accessible tables
