I used to enjoy Naf Naf, but this location was a disappointment. I arrived at 7:30PM, half an hour before closing, and was told they were out of falafel—one of their main menu items.
The staff seemed untrained, especially in customer service. When I received my order, the pita was old, discolored, and clearly past its prime. When I pointed it out, the employee immediately grabbed a fresh pita from a drawer and handed it to me without a word—no apology, no acknowledgment of the issue, just a feeling of “here you go” like they were doing me a favor. When I told them this old pita should be in the trash, they had no response.
The rice also tasted old, like it had been sitting from the previous day, and the overall food lacked any real flavor or care.
Unfortunately, this location just isn’t up to the standards I remember from Naf Naf. I hope they improve, but based on this visit, I wouldn’t return.

Nafnaf was one of my favorite places to visit in the region when I’m back home to visit from Culinary School. Unfortunately this location usually has an unfriendly staff memeber working. There are at least 2 workers who are quite rude and not personable at all to interact with.
Tonight the guy who took and cooked my order did not set the timer when he cooked my crispy chicken filets. I didn’t think to check the chicken for doneness but regret that since I realized 3/4 through my food that the chicken I had eaten was raw. When I went up to talk to the staff member they were zero help in making the situation right. Did not offer to remake or give me a refund and claimed it was fine because he gave me a “free half” of chicken anyways and everything was fine.
I will not be coming back, and I think you should reconsider if you were thinking about going to the schererville location.

I love the restaurant chain. This one was ok. Our basmati rice was cold and our falafels were fried too dark. They were also out of the morrocan sauce.

Meat was raw I got a photo and falafels were missing baking soda like a brick.I was sick for a few days after this.It was for 2 people about $50 for 2 plates i can understand if the quality was high but no I'm shocked this place can server raw meat and no health inspector cares they pased this place up. Too bad Abou Andre is back in Lebanon they have a world of difference of food they came to Chicago, naf naf followed the comparison is dog food to caviar naf naf I'm shocked is still open.

Had a bad experience at Naf Naf Grill Brookfield Wisconsin today. Hope #nafnaf folks are listening. I ordered 2 rice bowls for a take out. Upon reaching home, I realized that the rice was half cooked. I took the bowls back to the store to complain and get a replacement bowl. The interaction with the #nafnaf employees left a lot of room for improvement. They were dismissive at first and later simply disinterested in solving the problem. The team lead refused to acknowledge that the rice was uncooked. It was my word against his since he had "followed the protocol while making the rice". He was not willing to taste the rice and kept saying that this had never happened before. He was not ready to reimburse for the bowl because I had eaten a spoonful. He did not agree to give me a replacement bowl. He reimbursed for another bowl which had not been eaten. He offered to give me extra rice for free but did not agree to give me the full bowl (I wanted it exactly the same as the one i had ordered). I don't understand how this offer of extra rice made any sense. #NafNafGrill Bad experience. I have been a big fan of the restaurant but today was a big downer.
There was nobody in the restaurant when we entered. Half of the lights were turned off. The man behind the counter taking our order was on the phone talking to someone else. The place was dirty. Crumbs and food all over the floor. Tables were filthy!!!! Hadn’t been wiped down. No ice in the ice machine. We used to love coming here. But, sadly no longer will be coming back.

My friend is Vegan and I was driving by and I suggested that we go on our first Saturday lunch together on January 4 to Naf Naf Grill. I noticed that it was Middle Eastern food and they had Vegan options after checking their website. I was unfamiliar with Middle Eastern food but I'm always up to try new cuisine's. We walked in and was greeted by the nicest guy and it was so clean. It was a welcome difference to most restaurants * Bonus Points*! I told the gentleman that I was unfamiliar with the food and needed a minute. He was patient and kind answering all of my questions and even let me sample the Falafel and the Chicken Shawarma both so tasty. I finally decided to order a build your own plate. You get double the protein, bases, toppings, and sauces. Again, not knowing what everything was I told the guy that I wasn't sure what or how to order; but I'm all about the flavor not the spice. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma and the Falafel, Basmati Rice, baba Ghanoush, salad, cabbage, onions, and pickles, then the sauces. He gave me a great combination. I'm telling you great atmosphere, food, price, friendliness of the employees. This is my NEW FAVORITE RESTAURANT!

Recommended dishes: Steak, Shawarma, Falafel, Hummus
Stopped in tonight and Josh behind the counter explained all the options & all the flavors of sauces. I chose a plate with chicken shawarma and crispy chicken. My husband got the stuffed pita with chicken shawarma. We tried the naftziki sauce and the spicy humus. DELICIOUS! Everything was fresh and prepared in front of us. Reasonably priced considering the large portions. Great service too!

This was my first time here. Dosh did a great job explaining everything, and let us try some sauces and the naf fries. I got a pita with chicken shawarma and it was delicious. The Naf fries are a home run. Don't pass on those. The service and food are top notch. I will definitely be back.
