I don't say this lightly...this was by a wide margin the worst Mexican restaurant I've ever been to, and not typical of other Pepe's locations.

The mild salsa they bring to the table is literally tomato soup concentrate without the water added. The taste is unmistakable and just plain gross.

Did mention they don't serve margaritas?

The tacos came in paper wrappers on a plate with spanish rice (topped with a dollop of tomato soup concentrate!) And refried beans.

My wife couldnt finish her meal it was so awful. I ate about 1/2 of mine.

The waiter was great. The people working there are doing the best the can with terrible food.

It's really bad. Really surprised Pepe's lets this go on because it's catastrophic to their brand.

Attended a family birthday party last night. Had a wonderful experience & the staff was fantastic, especially Javier, & Diane. The food was great & the chile con queso brought back memories from the Pepe’s in Dolton. Thank you for your friendly hospitality!

I asked if the Flautas were frozen because they tasted like something from a box. No meat at all. She told me they are frozen. Don't recommend getting those.

Charged incorrect pricing. Take-out bill was double what it should have been. They charged $5 for a steak taco when the menu clearly states $3.75 and charged us for other items we did not order. When we tried to address this difference they were aggressive and refused to refund the overcharges. They also refused to refund the food we did not order and said we took it so we were charged. We just walked and picked up the order, we had no idea they put other items in the bag until we got home.
