Attended a family birthday party last night. Had a wonderful experience & the staff was fantastic, especially Javier, & Diane. The food was great & the chile con queso brought back memories from the Pepe’s in Dolton. Thank you for your friendly hospitality!
So the food was a little bit different than what I remembered when I used to go there as a kid. I will say that they used to serve simply the warm salsa on the table, but this time there was a cold salsa as well, that was not as good in my opinion. Also, the chips taste different than they used to. I don't know if it's a different brand or if they just use a different type of oil to fry them, but they tasted a little more commercial and less homemade. The beans were...
Went to Pepes for my Birthday on Feb. 20th, and the staff was amazing, the food was great, and the margarita was on sale which is always a plus! The whole staff sang to me and gave me a sombrero to wear like they always do, but I'll tell ya what, it never gets old. They also gave me free fried icecream because it was my Bday. I absolutely love Pepes, and I have no complaints whatsoever. ❤️ Thank you for a great Birthday dinner, guys! 🎉
