Had a fantastic carryout this evening. The Italian beef with cheese, the ribeye steak sandwich, and pasta shell sides. Absolutely awesome. They take very good care of me every time I go there. Thank you, Pepino’s.❤️❤️❤️
I'm so sad the way the new owners have literally murdered what was always excellent food. The beef was inedible. Sliced so thin it was just dry flaky mush.
I ran the kitchen in cal.city and boy we had much higher standards.I imagine many that knew pepe's standards are seeing the new owners are shaming the pepinos name.
I've been a long time fan dating back to when they were in Calumet city. I've used them for catering several times with great success. always enjoy stopping in to grab something to eat as well. I do miss the bone-in pork chop sandwich but I can understand how selling that might be a bit of a liability. LOL all in all, the place never disappoints
