There was HAIR in my food. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. The lady who was cooking didn't have her hair all the way wrapped up like she should have. it was HER hair that was in my food. i tell her about it , she doesn't apologize she just goes to get the manager so i can tell him about it. the manager was nice about it but at the end of the day she was at fault and showed no remorse nor accountability. i will not be returning to this location

We had to use a kiosk to order our food. Then we got it from the counter when called. If I wanted to serve myself, I'd have stayed home.
Try the garlic burger! The place is clean. And while I don't know her name there's a young lady there who has the best customer service of all time. She is an absolute sweetheart

Went to steak ān Shake yesterday for my little babies 5th birthday and I was not very pleased. First, let me say that the staff was very friendly and the place was clean. That is not why Iām giving a low score. My problem is steak ān Shake new way of doing things. I basically spent about 30 to 40 minutes just trying to order the food, get the drinks, and pick it up to bring it to our table. They are now basically self serve, which does not go over well when you have a family of 6, including a toddler that likes to run around like toddlers do. Upon entering, you have to order at the front (which is a very small space) on their machines. You have to enter your whole order, so I found myself standing there for literally 30 minutes with my whole family trying to figure out what everybody wanted all of the specifics, shake options, all of that , with the help of one lady (who I actually feel bad for). After all of that was done I was able to pay at the kiosk and then drink tickets came up. This is a new method that I have never seen before and I do not like. Thereās a QR code that you have to scan on the pop machine and it gives you 15 seconds to get a soda. 6 tickets! After the 15 seconds it locks up. And you also have to make sure you hold onto that small little paper in case you want a refill. Also Iām walking back-and-forth to the table 100 times to get my food and condiments. I couldnt tell which burger was which, they all looked the same looking at the top of the buns so that was very frustrating. Overall, the food was actually very good very well prepared but the hassle that I had to endure in order to dine in there was just too much. I will say if you are going for a Drive-through order thatās fine or if you have a very small group of people it may work out, but I will not visit this restaurant anymore for family dining its just too complicated.

We stopped at this location on our way to Chicago. When I went to the restroom, I almost busted my butt. The floor seemed to be a little greasy. I ordered the butter single steak burger and fries. When I got it, I saw there was what appeared to be a lot of grease. When I picked the burger up, the bottom bun was soaked. I brought it to one of the employees and showed him. He looked at me like he was annoyed with me coming up there. He then commented, āwell itās a butter burgerā¦ā Yes captain obvious Iām well aware? He asked me if I wanted him to make me a new one. Iāve seen Waiting enough to know you donāt get them to remake your food. I tried eating it and after a couple of bites in, I noticed that there was butter melted and globbed in my basket. Stay clear of the butter burger unless you want it coming out of your poresā¦
