We went today for our first time and the service was phenomenal! We got 3 chocolate cupcakes and a biscoff cupcake. Oh MY LANDS! That was the best cupcake of my life.

absolutely amazing. i had cookie butter cupcakes and the triple chocolate brownie. the brownie may be the best I've ever had. it's almost like a rich fudge with chocolate chunks, chocolate drizzle, and a nut topping. must try this place!!

Absolutely wonderful cake! The cake was light, fluffy, moist, and better than I've had in my lifetime. I highly recommend this bakery for all your sweet tooth needs!

Enjoyed a late lunch on the patio. Grilled pimento cheese sandwich was excellent! My husband said his egg salad with bacon sandwich was delicious, too. I want to come back to try the cakes! Disappointed that breakfast wasn’t offered after 1:00. I was in the mood for flapjacks. Oh well, just means I get to go again!

Since we were travelling, I had to come up quick with something for my wife's birthday. This place came to the rescue. I like the idea that one can walk into a place and get a cake without ordering days ahead. The cake was very good ! I will be back for more when in the area.

Trish at Southern Sweets Bakery went out of her way to make my Dad’s 79th birthday extra special! Since this past year in quarantine we have been unable to visit my parents in the Atlanta/Decatur area, we live out of town. As a last minute idea, we wanted to send my dad a Key Lime Pie (his favorite) to celebrate his birthday. We tried to do a delivery through Grub Hub but for some reason we were unable. So we called the bakery and got to talk to Trish! How sweet and kind she was! She went out of her way to make and deliver this pie so my Dad could have an amazingly delicious treat to help him celebrate his birthday. She was kind and understanding and she must bake positivity and love right into all her treats! We can’t wait to visit in person on our next trip to Atlanta. And bonus, there are lots of vegan treats available and half my family is vegan. Yay! Thank you so so much for your kindness and caring.

I personally had a Oreo cheesecake it was delicious there where so many options I also got a chocolate red velvet cake but it wasn’t as good still a very good cake!

Great place for lunch. We took ours to go. Very friendly staff, nice variety of sandwiches. We tried four different ones (all great!). Deserts were wonderful. The brownies are so good and the cheesecakes. Kids loved it too!

Southern Sweets is known for its bakery and desert selections. In fact they provide pies, tarts and other items to some of Atlanta's high end restaurants. The great thing is that you can walk in and order salads, sandwiches, breakfast or just a "southern sweet". The people are very friendly. There is limited seating if you choose to dine in.
