Anytime I want good tacos or a mulita, I go to Taqueria Hernandez! I discovered them several years ago at Thunder Over Louisville & have been ordering from them ever since. Don’t pass them by; you won’t be disappointed!

Happened by on my way home from Chicago. My family went to Arby's... but they missed out! This is a hidden gem.
As good or better than the taquerias I go to in Waukegan.

Their steak tacos with onion cilantro and verde sauce are some of the best I’ve had. Quesadillas are top notch also 👌

10/10 recommend! I fed my face before I fed my phone so unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures. But do yourself a favor and stop if you see this truck out and about! I got the mulitas de pollo and omg… YUM!!! The tortilla/bread was so soft and fresh. The chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Hubby is so basic and got the tacos de asada, but they were delicious too! Tender, flavorful steak! Everything was delicious! We will most definitely be back as I’m looking forward to trying more things on the menu.

I'm customer that satisfied all the way from Oregon. I hired this company to Cater to one of my customers. I called on Friday to cater to 30 people and Taqueria Hernandez made the following Monday work out. They brought their entire setup to my customer and gave the entire crew a great experience and good food. My customer was extremely happy, Moral was at 100% and the customer service this company has is exactly what you look for when going out to eat and especially when catering. Thank you Rueben, his daughter and all of Taqueria Hernandez for helping me to impress my customer on a very short notice. I can wait to hire them again.
