had the worst experience at this Applebee’s. The host was extremely rude, rolling her eyes and giving attitude to my family and me for no reason. I believe her name was Nina. From the moment we walked in, we felt unwelcome. Customer service should be a priority, but clearly, that wasn’t the case here. It completely ruined our visit, and I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone unless they improve their staff’s professionalism. Disappointing experience!!

I like that some booze have a light right above them to make it feel more intimate with the person you're talking to. The staff is always great here and the food is even better.

I've eaten here multiple times, and until tonight, the last couple times have had me ready to swear off ever coming back. But tonight was amazing! The hostess was over cleaning a table but came right over to seat us. What a refreshing change! Usually, they're on their phones or huddled up talking anymore. And it only got better from there. Our server, Raven, was delightful. Just the right amount attention. And she did something I rarely see anymore, she took our dirty dishes or empty glasses. I don't know the name of the hostess, but I continued to see her cleaning tables etc throughout our meal. The food was also amazing, fast and cooked just right. But the service was just, wow! I'm gushing over something that used to be commonplace lol

Experience here is usually always great. Ordered the Bacon, Ranch, and Chicken fried which were nice and fresh. Plenty of cheese and bacon. Evenly proportioned throughout the fries. Then I had a 6 Oz sirloin with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli with cheese. Everything tasted good. Steak was ordered to be cooked rare and was cook properly. Waitress came to check on us pretty frequently and service was great!

The server was amazing. Everyone was polite and friendly. The food came out looking like it does on the menu, which hardly ever happens in restaurants. This is by far the best Applebees I have been to.
Parking: There was plenty of places to park even with the restaurant having a short wait to get a table.
Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and give out crayons with the menu. My grandson enjoyed the different activities included on his menu. The food offered for him was all foods he likes and it was portioned perfectly for him.
Wheelchair accessibility: The only place that had steps was in front of the bar seating area. The backside had a ramp. The aisles between the tables were large, and the bathroom had a handicap accessible stall.

We have avoided all the Applebee's for more than ten years. We were in Shelbyville and stopped by and a bit shocked at how good it was. We had a waitress that had only worked there two weeks. She did a great job and got our orders correct. The food was also much better than in the past. The place was clean and well lit. Overall, we enjoyed it very much and will be back for sure.
