“Went today to pick up an order I placed online, I used DoorDash because I placed after hours, unfortunately I didn’t know they no longer used DoorDash. When I went to pick up my large order (22 piece chicken, rolls, 2 large sides and 6 small) and realized it didn’t go through they hopped to it! They fulfilled my order in 20-25 minutes! Nothing was missing, no attitudes because they had to deal with it! The owner and staff at amazing!!! Definitely shows the love they have for the business!! We will be back!”

“The service was top notch. Went for their seafood buffet. The food was really good. They weren't too busy and I know it's hard to keep buffet food hot when pans aren't being emptied so some of the food was a little cold but still good. The sugar cream pie was the star of the show. I'd like to go back and try it again.”

“I placed an online order for lunch today, and with it having rained and stormed all day, I waited for the rain to let up before running inside with my baby.
I was immediately greeted by a gentleman who I assume is the manager or owner, and he could not have been kinder. He offered to carry my food out to my car, grabbed my drink for me, and then walked everything out with me. He absolutely did not have to do any of that, but that small act of kindness meant so much. Especially when you’re juggling a baby and trying to navigate a rainy day, having someone go out of their way to make things a little easier is something you truly appreciate. Thank you for the kindness and excellent service! It may have been a small gesture to you, but it made a big difference to me.”

“I have been to this location multiple times and have tried several different items, and everything I’ve tasted has been excellent! I honestly haven’t found a coffee I like more than the Panda Portage. My only wish is that the coffee came in bigger sizes because it’s just that good! 😂 Every time I’ve visited, the staff has been extremely welcoming, friendly, and kind. I truly can’t recommend this place enough! It definitely deserves all the hype! 🩷”

“Huge menu, which seems scary, but everything we ordered was great! We had the onion blossom, potato skins, country fried steak breakfast, and an omelet that had hash browns inside of it and was smothered in sausage gravy. Every single item was fresh and tasted great!”

Greetedit by the bartender Sarah, we sat down and she gave us her recommendations which were off the chain. A brisket Philly cheese steak! Having been to Philly and having cheesesteaks all over the country this was one of the best ones I've ever encountered flavorful juicy with just the right amount of topics. I also have to highlight the barbecue baked beans which was some of the most unique I've had with ground beef, green peppers onions and the right amount of smoke tender and delicious I would take these to my family barbecue. The brisket was good and the four pork was good also. Also got a side of mac and cheese which was praiseworthy also. I will be coming back here I recommend anybody traveling through Shelbyville to look up the spot and drop in on the cook and the waitress fabulous service good atmosphere and amazing food!!”

“I live in Whiteland and my brother is in a nursing home in Shelbyville. We both are crazy about the grinders. What I appreciate most is my brother is physically and slightly mentally challenged. From the owner to her staff they have always went out of their way to be engaging and friendly and caring every time we have eaten there. My brother always feels special and I’m so appreciative. So I encourage everyone to enjoy the best of grinders and support these caring people.”

“My husband and I stopped there for lunch today as we were passing thru. There was a small problem with my sandwich. I mentioned the problem to an employee in the dining room and she went straight to the manager about it. He came to our table and was so polite! He replaced my meal with anything I wanted on the menu, without me even asking. He also refunded my money and gave my husband a frosty lol.
