Ordered a carryout, they said give us 10-15 minutes, I know this store is always exceptionally slow so I waited over 20 minutes
Sure enough, when I got there 20 minutes later, they didn’t have the food ready. This was at 7 am, very few customers in the place. I waited 5 minutes and left, the place has turned into a joke
Stay away, they can’t get orders correct or timely. The sad thing is, no one from management or ownership cares

We visited on December 29th and had an excellent experience! The food was well portioned, hot, fresh, and tasted great! Cindy L. was our server and she is excellent at what she does making sure we had what we needed and always smiling and pleasant. Prior to this visit, we had visited the Cracker Barrel in Edinburgh and this store in Shelbyville was far superior in every way. Definitely recommend.

Thankful for Shelbyville’s Cracker Barrel as we eat there often. Its service and food is always outstanding! We appreciate the remodel as well, yes, it took a minute to get use to the lighter colors and updated, yet, still antique-ish decor, but, now, I can hardly stand to go into a non-remodeled CB with its dark ambiance and “ghostly” looking photos of many generations ago. Hoping we can have newly updated tables and chairs in the near future as well! Keep up the great food and service, CB, it is always a pleasure to be your guests!

Our waitress, Ava, was outstanding. She did her due diligence to ensure that we were all satisfied with our food and received excellent service. We were a huge group, and it really showed you what having patience on a busy day can get you from a great worker like Ava.

Food was good today, service side was a bit lacking on from being sat to table server to checking out.
Atleast the food was good and relatively fast coming out and fresh hot.

Food was really good. We ordered it online for takeout, and it was on time, hot, and fresh. Will order again! The reason 4 stars is that to use points on retail you have to spend at least $75 to get $15 off, $50 to get $10 off or $25 to get $5 off. To me that's not getting a deal. You can also use your points towards food if you want. So that's okay, but the retail is just not worth using the points.

Also food and menu options have gone down hill. Greenbeans and biscuits aren't as good as they used to be. I believe they have gone to cheaper options on their food.

Not my closest Cracker Barrel but it’s so much better than my local one that it’s worth the drive. Best all around place. Quality, temperature, friendly service, variety and price range. Love it 🥰
