We all three had same thing it was the country fried steak with three side we all had different sides I ate the country fried steak it tasted funny to me but went ahead and ate it . But the couple I was with I noticed he only had three bites of his country fried steak. She took one bite and that was it but ate her sides none of us said anything to each other till we got in car they dropped me off at home I got sick . Didn’t have good experience here like I usually do .Parking: Plenty

Came to the Cracker Barrel in Shelbyville, Indiana to have lunch and view the solar eclipse. Good food and excellent service ( thanks Nicole!). The store was very accommodating to the many out of towners who came to view the eclipse.

Server Chris E. working on the evening of 4/4/24 deserves a promotion. This gentleman fully embodies what companies like Cracker Barrel can only hope their servers are presenting nationwide, but usually aren’t. He was kind, attentive, had a positive attitude, and very knowledgeable. You could tell he truly took pride in his work. Workers like this unfortunately often go unnoticed. I hope management sees this and acts accordingly.

on line ordering didnt work. calling... disconnected 4 times finally got through,placed the order 27 minutes later, no order finally a very nice girl came to my car after having notice my car just sitting asked how she could help . I told her of my delima to which she went inside after I had to pay .Finally came back with my cold dinner apologized ,needless to say I told her how unhappy I was, asked what she coula do and asked if i would like to speak with mag. of course i did, he blamed everything else and said problem must have been with on line system your web site does not even list a Cracker Barrell within 25 miles of Terre Haute by the way I still tipped the girl The problem wasn't hers Ordered the baked catfish ,received fried

Very unhappy with this location. Ordered dinner a couple of nights ago. Ordered the tips, tenders and shrimp meal as well as a side order of biscuits and gravy. EVERYTHING was cold, mind you I Ordered while sitting in the parking lot and was inside when the order came out. Yet everything was cold still. The food was also gross. The chicken and tips were dry as could be and chewy. The potatoes were old and bricked. The biscuits were pretty solid and both that amd the gravy were cold as the rest of the meal. I called the next day and the manager put in the book to get a free meal, not also replacing the biscuits and gravy, just the meal itself. Just Ordered the meal and again was in the parking lot when ordering yet the entire meal is cold AGAIN!!! There were also only 5 pieces of shrimp vs the 11 pieces I got a few days ago when I ordered. And then with my sides, well let's just say I would say two bites of each side because it's like they measured two tables spoons out of both and that's it.....Beyond furious and disappointed at this point.
