The food was not very good. The lobster tails were fatty and the worst I have ever had. The crab cakes tasted bad. The service was not very good. For the price I expected a lot better food and service. Not a place I will visit again.
We came here to celebrate my wife and father-in-law's birthday. They were out of quite a few things that we were considering ordering. It was understandable though, since we were there towards the end of the day. Despite that, everything that we ordered was great and our server was very attentive.
Took some friends as they had never been before. We were excited to introduce them to the experience. We have gone 4 times prior 2 good experiences and 2 not so good...It's the business and you expect sometimes it happens. We get in right away, get seated, Server was Amazing and got our cocktails, 2 of which they couldn't drink, again no biggie server corrected. We ordered appetizers, the crab cakes were charred, the mushrooms, and shrimp cocktail great! We got our food in a timely manner however my prime was cold ,my sister in law got the Cajun shrimp pasta, the two men got the breaded shrimp dinners. Her dish was soooo spicy hot it wasn't even editable. The pasta was mush. The guys sides were also cold...Keep in mind the server was extremely accommodating (not her fault). As a customer and previous restaurant owner, you know stuff happens and again you try to give benefit of doubt.Needless to say Our guest will not return in the future, and after 5 visits, 3 being poor, We too will not be returning. It is such a neat place, and I hear at one time was consistently very good... The place to go for finer dining. Was truly hoping for a better outcome...Best of luck.Thank you.
For a meal that was more that $300 for 4 people, it was nothing over barely digestible. Steak wasn’t what it was supposed to be, crab legs that smelled spoiled, catfish that was tilapia at best, and “made from scratch sides” that tasted like they came out of a can. I can’t recommend avoiding this restaurant and stronger. We will never be returning.
You lost us for sure. Had a reservation for our 15th anniversary. No call or attempt to get ahold of us to let us know you were closed due to a 'gas leak'. This is not how you keep customers in the resteraunt or any other business. My husband wrote a complaint, then you send him a special for Father's Day. You weren't open that day either.
I give it five stars because of the food, service, and atmosphere. Friendly staff, food was great, and hot at the the table. Plus, where else are you going to "bang your head" while having dinner? Lol Home-like atmosphere.
I think at one time this was a wonderful place but it has seen better days. We waited for quite some time for anyone to realize we were there to begin with. The carpets are stained, it's dark, and is starting to fall into disrepair. The food is expensive too, we just had appetizers, no alcohol and the bill was still $70.00. It could be a charmer, but it needs an overhaul and an owner that cares about it.
It was Friday and I know they’re busy. But it took us an hour and 50 minutes to get our food and when it finally came out it was luke warm at best. The macaroni and cheese was rubber and tasted like it was made yesterday. For the price and service it wasn’t worth it at all.
We were pleasantly surprised on our date night at Fiddlers Three. It was very slow, but maybe 630pm is early for some. The waitress was nice and helpful. The food was a bit pricey, but good. Especially for a small town like Shelbyville.
Wife and I had a great meal, served great cocktails, made to feel like we were their only customers.

Tried going in at 6:30. Restaurant states clearly no reservations. We were refused a seat, at 6:30 PM, because they couldn't seat us. The restaurant closes at 11pm. This is ridiculous. Never coming again.
Once a Shelbyville spot - it's very sad to see what this place has become. It had been a while since we visited. We had seen some concerning Facebook comments made by the owner, and we stayed away for quite a while. We visited recently, and our food was absolutely disgusting. My main course was inedible. Very disappointing. Mid-week dinner time and they had maybe 3 tables at peak. I don't see this place staying open much longer.
I wish I could give zero stars. This place is an absolute abomination. I remember years and years ago, when Jamie Dugan was the chef it was excellent. I feel like I was just robbed of my time and my money. Steer completely clear of this place. Would love to see Gordon Ramsey walk in unannounced. He would shut it down within 10 seconds.
We got there at 6:30pm ordered drinks, waited 10 minutes before we got any drinks, went ahead and ordered a second round, just because they were so slow. When we finally got our food, all but 2 out of 6 of us the food was cold, and all of our baked potatoes were not done, they were hard in the middle. My steak was not cooked as ordered and was more like a breakfast steak, that I paid 33$ for all in all it was the worst meal I ever paid 106$ for and definitely won't be going back anytime soon if at all.
The cracker bread was awesome, the clams as well. The lobster bisque was wonderful. My prime rib, while a little on the rare side, was tender. The grouper was tough, may have been overcooked. Good service even short staffed.
