This was our first time eating at this little breakfast and brunch restaurant. The loaded potato soup was absolutely outstanding! Best ever! My husband and I cannot stop telling others to check out this treasure. We also had the sweet potato quesadilla which was huge enough to share PLUS take some home for another meal. The rhubarb pie had a flavorful lattice topped crust and creamy texture inside and so delicious. Mary, our server, was engaging, accommodating, and personable. The only negative is regarding the noise level which was loud and distracting. This will not prevent us from returning again in the future.

Well, if I could give it zero stars, I would. I've attempted to eat at this restaurant twice over the course of several years. Both with the same results. First off, no service was seated 20 min before walking out. Both times. One thing i can say is the only thing I have gotten from here after 40 min of my life was a menu. Looks pricey tourist trap is say.

Used to be one one of my favorite places to go in Shipshawna.. But today changed that.. I called in my order and let them know that I'm on a tight time schedule and I wanted to place my order .. I get there and sit down and was later told that anytime I call in an order. I am to go on five lakeside to eat it or leave.. i was told they don't do reservations.. I didn't request a table. I just wanted my food being prepared so when I got there I did not have to wait long to eat, They even put my food in a togo box .. Was not happy with the way I was treated.. When I went to pay my bill she spoke to me again about it .. I felt like a child being scolded ...I was so upset, I told her I have never been treated so unruly and felt so unwelcome .. Lost alot of respect for that manager *owner -whatever she is..
