Shawna Rae's Bakery & Cafe

We stopped by this cute bakery and tried 6 of her cheesecakes. They were absolutely delicious and suuuper unique! Our favorite by far was the Pina Colada cheesecake with the Banana Split Cheesecake as a close second. You MUST make a stop to her bakery while in Shipshewana! It will be one of our regular stops when we visit from here on out!!

Stopped in today after seeing the amazing looking cheesecakes on Facebook. Tried a bite of the chocolate cheesecake and its delightful! Great creamy texture not too firm. They also offer 2 different gluten free. The staff were very polite, friendly and patient while we drooled and decided. Give them a shot if in Shipshewana they are right off the main strip.

Everything we had was really good. Honestly the best thing we had in Shipshewana. The staff was super friendly And helpful. Cute lil dine in spot or take it to go. Lemon Cheesecake and Blueberry Cheesecake Ice cream is what I had and loved me both!!! Others in my Party had the Wings, Reuben and Grilled cheese with Fries all reports said it was good all around. Must do for all. And if we find ourselves in this neck of the woods again we will definitely be back

We visited Shipshewana this past Saturday! We stopped at your bakery to get treats for our daughter's 13th birthday and whoa baby! We will definitely drive 1 hour and 40 minutes from home just to visit it bakery again! Thank you so much! 💓

Shawna and her team are always so pleasant and helpful! My Mediterranean Salad today was ON POINT & I appreciated that all the Salad pieces were chopped small!! I also asked for tomatoes to be added and she had some chopped up just for me (no extra charge). I'm taking home 3 mini cheesecakes to share with my family but snuck a bite of my friend's Piña Colada and it was divine! Thanks Shawna!!!!

The food is fantastic! I had a spicy crab bowl that was fresh and very tasty. The stars of this establishment are the cheesecakes! They are delicious and every element is homemade. The staff is friendly and clearly feel passionate and proud of what they do.

Purchased six cupcakes yesterday and sampled all of them today-Out of this world! Cupcakes are moist and flavorful! Would go back without a doubt! Great job!!!

Shawna Rae and her daughter have been a delight from my first visit and still are! The food and sweets are amazing. I’ve enjoyed every meal, every cupcake, cheesecake, and cookie I’ve ate! It is so nice to see a business owner who puts her heart and soul into her work, takes pride, and always sells out of her delicious treats in the case. I fully recommend Shawna Rae’s Bakery & Cafe. Was greeted with a smiling face, told the lady it was my first time in she immediately started explaining everything they had ,and it was an amazing selection. The place was very quiet and comfortable.
I only wanted to eat half of my cupcake but it was so amazing that I couldn't stop eating it if you haven't been yet. You need to go. I promise you won't be disappointed.

A required stop when we are in town. Plan on having a meal before your sweet treats and ice cream. The food offered changes, but I have never been disappointed with anything.
The owner is very personable, and if they are not busy, she will come out and have the most delightful conversations with you.

Not only are their desserts absolutely delicious, but so are their fresh salads and entrees! Wonderful people, great food! Definitely a must-visit in Shipshewana!

We had dinner and dessert and everything was delicious! What a hidden gem in Shipshewana ❤️ if you like a good bakery item please please give them a try.

I got 3 different cheesecakes and 2 different cupcakes. I loved the cheesecakes the Chi latte my favorite, it tasted like pumpkin pie to me and I like the blueberry one also. Nice little shop, people are very nice.
