we drove from Elwood to try the Prime Rib. The homemade Pork Rinds are absolutely incredible. The Prime Rib was perfect. Definitely will be back. Great staff and the atmosphere was enjoyable.
I have lived in Shirley or have a Shirley address for the past 12 and a 1/2 almost 13 years. Not once have I tried the prime Rub at Bens. Because I'm always late and there are always sold out. I got lucky tonight and I ordered a prime rib to go with the baked potato and a salad. Yep I ate every bit of it and I feel like I just left a buffet. The prime rib was amazing and absolutely tender. The salad was perfection. And the baked potato was so good that I actually ate potato skin....read full review

Ben's Liquor is a small town gem with great food and friendly service. The restaurant offers typical bar food staples and a different special every night, never disappointing its customers. The prime rib and ribeye are highly recommended, with the burrito being a delicious choice. The place has plenty of parking, a drive-thru option, and a newly renovated interior with new seating. Despite the 21 and over policy, customers can call ahead for pick-up. A must-visit spot with a home-town bar feel that guarantees a good experience.
