Just leaving L Street Kitchen and so extremely pleased with our experience! This was the perfect spot for breakfast— the service, food, atmosphere, vibes, etc. were all 10/10. I got the breakfast tacos and my boyfriend orderee the French toast + eggs bacon. Everything was SO tasty (especially his French toast)! I think our server’s name was Madi— she was so sweet and attentive and made us feel right at home. Thank you! Honestly, this place is a gem while not breaking the bank. Definitely a 5-star spot, it’s worth checking it out!

Came in 5 minutes after noon and wasted 50 minutes waiting on lunch, almost made my wife late for work. I didn't think hot dogs and a chicken Patty would take more than 10 minutes to prepare. Don't stop here if you need a quick lunch, apparently their staff is overwhelmed. Not to mention the priced are higher than the food justifies.

I had steak and eggs meal, and it was enough to feed 2-3 people!!! Steak cooked so well that steak sauce is unnecessary. My server Amber was so kind and unperturbed by my high maintenance, LOL. I like honey, lemon and cinnamon in my tea and she made it happen with a smile 😊.

Ordered the Biscuits and Chicken, Chicken and waffles, and toast with their homemade jam. The homemade jam was great! The chicken was tender,however the batter on the Chicken was dry. The gravy was good but could use some seasoning. Service was excellent and the restaurant has a nice homey feel to it!

Fantastic food and fantastic service. I got the chicken and waffles and have never had any that compared in taste and texture. Perfectly moist and a Belgian waffle I need to steal the recipe for! Also props to Margaret for kind and attentive service through our visit!

I can wait no longer to give this place all the stars! I have hesitated in the past only because I love it so much, and have not wanted to find all the spaces taken by out-of-town guests, but I cannot hide this gym any longer as the food is excellent,the staff consistent and helpful and kind, and the atmosphere just ideal!
I don’t think I need to urge more people to go here, it had steady business and we had a 30 minute wait for a table of +4 people.
That’s not a knock, just the way it is, there’s plenty of turns for 2, 4 top and counter seating.
The menu has a nice variety and the food is good.
I had the Brisket Breakfast Burrito which was stuffed, I mean STUFFED with an entire breakfast in a tortilla.
The brisket was flavorful and added to the dish, if it’s used elsewhere on the menu, I’d encourage the option.
I also had a side of Biscuits and Gravy. The gravy is homemade, does not seem to be out of a bag but made in house with the breakfast sausage they use.
Breakfast hit the spot and I was good until a light dinner.

My husband took me here since I had never been, and OMG it was mighty delicious!! I had the Huevos Rancheros and it was delicious!! I wish they were on DoorDash or Uber eats or something because this would always be my Go to when I’m hungry !!
Parking: It’s 2 hr parking, that’s enough time to sit, talk and enjoy your meal.
