First time eating here, very friendly warm atmosphere. When you walk through the door Ms.D is very welcoming and her staff. Food was delicious 😋 yummy! I will definitely be back to visit and try there, rib tips, oxtails, and loaded fries.

A+++ experience, food, service. Smothered Pork Chops and Mac N Cheese for the win. Even though I walked 104 miles to get here from Chicago, I'd do it again. I'm sure I'll make a reason to come to South Bend just for this.

All around great experience. My husband and I had the catfish and sides and even happened upon a secret menu item....the Bishop's stew. My husband said the food was good and let me tell you that really says something. A real neighborhood gem!

The food was awesome. I ordered the smothered pork chops, which packed so much flavor between the chops and the brown gravy. My wife had the oxtails -- so tender and full of flavor. The sides were outstanding and the peach cobbler was the perfect dessert. We will definitely be back.
