First of all, upon walking in, everyone is so welcoming. My mate wanted the oxtails, but they were out, so we had to make a second visit. We ordered during the 1st visit, which made us want to come back for a second visit. We ordered the catfish & smothered pork chops. The smothered pork chops were so good that I had to have them again. He got his oxtails also. The food is so satisfying and filling you feel like you're in a food coma! We will be back.

I referred my friend of Caucasian color to this restaurant and she was greeted by a man saying to Her "You know you're at a Soul food restaurant "? by a guy wearing glasses. She ordered a chicken dinner, spaghetti and greens and water cornbread. The greens had too many stems but chicken was soo good! Service could have been better and was not professional.

Great service and delicious food. All the sides were better than they had to be, the Mac and cheese and greens were the best. That cornbread is perfect! The smothered chops can't be beat unless you are in someone's kitchen and the catfish is right up there with the best. I can't wait to go back and try the oxtail dinner and eat way too much Mac and cheese.
