Very disappointed in Breadsmith! I decided to check out what they had to offer. I pre-ordered a platter with 16 items for Monday morning at 7am for an important business meeting at work. I pulled up at 6:55am and not a single sole was there, nothing was baked and the lights were all off. This is a really poor way to run a business and I will never be inclined to return. Thankfully there are other reliable bakeries in the area that will continue to get my business.

As of today, still is poor management, drove 30 miles to find a sign on the door, “closed”, after calling yesterday, and placing an order with Brandon wow . . . & 3 other people came while I was there

Excellent spot for fresh breads and sweets. They use Mediterranean grains for delicious tasting breads. They also offer cake breads, scones, cookies and more. The sour dough bread and the chocolate scones were my favorites. The apple cake bread is also on the favorites list. The staff is friendly. Worth the trip!

It is my understanding that management changed in the last few months and the store now seems very poorly run, the selection is never reliable, and their presence at the South Bend Farmer's Market is not what it used to be. I have been very disappointed. I loved this store before.

According to online the store hours are until 7pm. Just drove across town to go there and at 6:15 they are already closed. Tried calling but no one answered. Do not appreciate driving 20 mins for nothing!

Great place for fresh daily made bread. Clean and well kept from the looks, and everything they have is delicious!
Enjoyed the French, Italian & Peasant breads but found the dessert bread and coffee cakes too sweet (apple & cinnamon). Use caution entering the parking lot, which is tricky to find w/drivers speeding > 40 mph. The store offers daily samples.
