Excellent experience. Good food and Service. Noise level was great for having conversation not only at our table but with the server to get his suggestion and inout on menu options.
Our dinners were elegant and prepared to a tee. Our server was outstanding and we enjoyed a leisurely dinner within a quiet atmosphere. ( it was a bit chilly in the restaurant tho). We can't say enough good things about the food and the service. We will definitely be back soon!
Cafe Navarre's mushroom soup is amazing. Perfect temperature and just the right amounts of garnishing to top it off.
We had excellent service. The atmosphere was beautiful. The bartender lovely. The risotto was extremely rich and almost inedible. I'm not sure what that is but it was way too cheesy. The rest of our dinner was delightful. The mushroom soup was amazing. We had a lovely evening the food was really good, but that risotto was really bad.
Great little spot on the edge of downtown SB...we love coming here when we visit ND/SMC. Zain provided excellent service as we celebrated our anniversary and we were surprised with complimentary glasses of champagne! Food was delicious as always. Well worth the expense.
10/10 would go again if I ever was in's south bend again. Probably won't be but for the off chance I end up there again
The food at Cafe Navarre is always outstanding in my experience. The presentation is excellent and the taste wonderful. The staff is hospitable, skillful, and helpful in making recommendations about the menu selections. Patrons can count on the service being efficient. It's a wonderful dining experience.
Everything was perfect for a quiet New Year's Eve dinner with friends. Christian was a superb waiter.
Everything was as one would expect at one of our town's nicer establishments. We had two minor issues that were uncharacteristic of our other outings at this establishment. One of the steaks at our table, which we asked for medium, came out much cooler than that, perhaps because we were early in the evening and the oven had not yet been properly calibrated. Still, both our server and our manager made this right quickly. The other issue was that green beans were undercooked (or perhaps had been under a heat lamp). That said, everything was still quite excellent and the service and ambiance were perfect. The glüwvein was a nice holiday treat, and everything was appropriate for this experience.
Food and service were excellent as always! The menu was varied and the dishes were well prepared and presented.

The food as always was excellent and the cocktails were well made. Our server, Geoffrey, was outstanding. He was attentive, courteous and elegant. His suggestions for entrees and wine were fantastic.
Food, service, ambience are always good. My only comment is sitting in the booth is a little tight unless you are slender. parking can be a challenge if there are other things going on downtown.
We appreciated the patience and attention of our server. Great food, Wonderful historic location.
Never disappoints! Our server Christian was terrific! He made excellent recommendations, was attentive and personable!
The service was incredibly slow, 1 1/2 hr to receive dinner & the whole branzino which 2 people ordered was overcooked & not great. Even the person with the smash burger said it wasn't great.
