The food was good and came out fast. I had the breakfast flat bread. However, we ordered mimosas and they were forgotten. We were done with our food and we had to tell our waitress we didn't get our drinks. We ordered another round and it happened AGAIN. other people got our drinks before us. Pretty disappointed and may not return.

Way over priced for what you get. The donuts are terrible. Go to New Orleans and get good food

Be careful ordering from here. They let you order menu items and them tell you they dont have them when you go to pick up.

My cousin took me to this cafe for a late bday lunch. We saw online that they had drinks with fruit and ‘Cajun’ food so we thought we would give them a try. To start off the drink were thrown together with little to no care, no fruit. The bartender was asked to remake my cousins drink and then which she did and admitted she made it wrong the first time and still gave it to her. She was nice, but the drinks need makeovers and better recipes. I had some sort of tropical lemonade and the cream from the key lime rum was curdling and kind of made my belly hurt. As far as food I ordered the Mardi gras Mac and had not a lick of chicken in there. I also ordered beignets to go and they tasted like sugared salty bread. Being that I have family in Louisiana, this did not give southern comfort food, rather Midwesterns best try. I would like to try lattes and poboys, may I will go to the Mishawaka location and it will be better

I have coupons that I won for this place and I wouldn't even go back for free food. The service was terrible. We arrived at 545pm and left at 630 and received less than half of what we ordered. The cashier was very inexperienced and no one stepped up to help her. There was one large group ahead of us so we definitely gave her some grace as she struggled to put in our order. We sat, we waited just to see a larger group that came after us be served before us. And they were served similar dishes to what we ordered ie beignets. So I went back up to speak with the cashier she could not explained the issue she just looked like a deer in headlights. Went to the kitchen and asked for help and no one assisted her. She finally told me she figured it out. 5mins later only my husband food was brought out... just one sandwich. Im watching as people are walking in and out AFTER us with their orders. I go up again and she gives me my frappe... immediately I see that its watery and refuse it and ask for my payment back. Then they bring out my flatbread at 620p with bacon on it that I specifically said I did not want. The manager doesn't come out until my husband comes up and say something to them. Never apologized once. Im also writing this hungry and annoyed with useless coupons in my purse.

Expensive hipster restaurants are not my thing. Food was good but way overpriced, especially for the amount of food. Two biscuits smothered in gravy should not be $16 .

Ordered a “bowl” of soup and a hot pumpkin latte
This mug of broccoli soup was fair at best and barely warm and not worth the added cost for a “bowl”!
My coffee was served barely warm and in a “go cup”. I don’t think they steam the milk and why a “go cup”? Why not hot and in a mug like they show in the pictures?
Will not go back!

Chicory cafe has super chill atmosphere, and is an inviting place for a quick bite. It's good for takeout and fine for hanging out too. The food selection is influenced by New Orleans French quarter, and overall has a good selection and is tasty. The line can occasionally get long, so usually I prefer to order ahead. They have more than one location in the area.

Strange atmosphere, rude service, cold brew tasted like the grounds from this mornings coffee. Awful experience.

They aren't open late into the night, but the people working were very nice to my friend and I while they cleaned up. They do have chess tables and the sort, that part was cool enough to mention here.

I got the Marie gras Mac and cheese to go with a glass of strawberry milk and it was sooo yummy. The girls working were super sweet. The girls were so nice even though a very unhappy man came in and was yelling at them and going almost into the back to point in their faces. I’m writing this in hopes that that man sees it and realizes his behavior was completely unacceptable, does not matter what went wrong with his order.

5 dollars for a coffee is just a bit much. Nice atmosphere and friendly service but the inflated prices are probably going to keep most people away.
