Pinata food was great!

Dainty Maid is ever changing. It's one of my favorite places to visit while I'm in SB. Everyone orders the same way- through a QR code on each table. There are servers but they are mainly "food runners". They do not take your order. They run your food out to you. This is easy for large groups- everyone orders for themselves and pays for themselves:) There's a few things from each food spot. I'd love to see a rotating monthly "guest" chef/restaurant! Right now it's mainly breakfast and lunch. With a full bar, I'd love to see dinner offered here as well. It's more of a burger, tacos, pics place than a nice sit down "dinner". Definitely grab your friends to come meet here!

I can’t say enough good things about this place and especially Smashed. By far the best burger I have ever had. Cooked perfectly and all of the flavors complement each other. The garage sauce is fantastic and the garlic aoli has great garlic creamy flavor. I’m looking forward to trying everything on the Smashed menu as well as the other vendors. Highly recommended

My husband and I stayed at a nearby hotel the Saturday before Easter and were looking for coffee on the way out of town. Everything was closed except The Revenant Coffee Bar (which I took as the universe winking at us). We had no idea what the Dainty Maid Food Hall was. We walked in expecting to get a quick coffee to go. And while that is totally an option, we were greeted by such friendly staff that really pulled off the whole "we love being here!" thing, that we felt compelled to have a seat and look over all of the options. And the options seemed limitless! The process of ordering and paying was very easy and completely at our own pace. I started with a ginger and turmeric breve latte with honey that delighted my tastebuds and killed my hangover! We decided to have a few bites to eat and stay a while. My husband teased me for ordering a boring bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich until he saw that it was no ordinary sandwich! Everything we had was delicious and I could not stop myself from getting a 2nd latte to go. We live about 45 minutes away and this is 100% worth driving to the next time my girlfriends and I plan a brunch date. Or, you know, just by myself next weekend with a book.

The food is fantastic and coffee bar is great! Wonderful individual businesses in one nice spot. It’s just frustrating when I’d like a good coffee and something to eat but can’t be guaranteed both due to differing business hours. I went in on a Friday at 8 a.m. and sat down to order food, only to realize only the coffee bar menu was available. I was so bummed, especially since I’m not always off on Fridays and able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Luckily, I found another local business nearby that was open and offered everything.

Greeted friendly and was explained the system: using one's personal phone to access multiple menus and place orders. This system is impractical for my family, all of whom do not each have a phone to browse on, when we finally did get site to load on one phone, some finding the text too small to read "phone size", hard copies and wait staff would have been best for our situation. Unfortunately we left without figuring out the ordering system, the atmosphere and food options really did seem unique and appealing.

If my rating was based exclusively on the food selection and quality it would be a 5. However, when factoring in the overall experience of the "food hall" style there is room for improvement. Upon arrival you're seated and directed to scan a QR code, no menus. Everything on the menu comes from different vendors within the venue, and they're then fetched by your server from said providers. I can tolerate QR menus and online ordering. However, they lost points in compelling a tip upon order placement before service is rendered. Our breakfast took 45 minutes from the time we ordered. My coffee was not refilled or warmed up once during the entire time. For the aforementioned reasons I could only justify a 3/5 stars overall.

We showed up 10 minutes before they closed. They let us order and eat out food there. The food came quickly and were large portions. Everyone was great. Will go back again.

The business was very good, so the food was served slowly and I had to wait for almost an hour. The food was quite delicious and could satisfy the tastes of different regions and nationalities!
