Great restaurant for date night. I've been going to the Emporium for years. I took my prom date here a decade ago, and introduced my girlfriend to my best friend at lunch here. It's a great spot for a nice meal, and affordable.

The service is great, table and chairs we're very rickety. I ordered the steak frites, usually it's already cut up when I go to other places. I guess everybody does it a little differently. The red wine sauce was great and the fries were well seasoned, but overcooked.

Always a great time. Food was awesome. I had the chicken salad pita, which I get every time I go there. Every. Time. The views are amazing.

DO NOT BOOK THIS RESTAURANT ON OPENTABLE! Made a reservation this past Monday for a table for 4 tonight. Arrived at restaurant and was told I did not have reservation. I showed them Confirmation and they said that open table wasnt working for them. A manager was called to check in desk and she said they couldn't seat us because they were full. Totally unapologetic. Offered a gift card. Seriously....I would never visit this restaurant again. So beware.....I have seen other reviews where this occurred at this restaurant....I should have known better, but maybe this review will save someone else from having this happen to them.

We had 5:00 dinner reservations on Valentine's Day. Parking lot was full & we were fortunate to find a spot on the street so we didn't have far to walk in the frigid weather. We were seated promptly & I was even given a free red rose, nice touch! Atmosphere was cozy & rustic. Food was served within short time of ordering & was very tasty. The only complaint we have is with our server. She was not very prompt on returning to get our order, after we told her what appetizer we wanted & we wanted to look over the drink menu. Once our order was placed, she was prompt with my husband's salad but hadn't asked what dressing he wanted. Had to wait on her to bring it back. She seemed very scatter-brained & we had to wait up to 15 minutes every time we needed anything else, like our check, the coupon to be applied to our check & the corrected check. We will still go back should another special occasion arise. We will give her the benefit of the doubt, perhaps she was having an off night.

LOVE the food here, everything I've ever had has been so delicious, although the Farfalle pasta has to be my number 1 favorite.. I would definitely recommend that to anyone.

Very accommodating! There were 12 of us asking for a reservation at the last minute. They found a place for us and gave us great service.

This is a prime location that has past it's own prime. The menu offered the option of two appetizers and two entree's so we took that option. My husband ordered a steak mid rare and I ordered trout Oscar. The appetizers were crab cakes and fried arancini balls. We both ordered signature drinks that we both enjoyed. The appetizers came and my crab cakes looked like marbles. There was no way to flake them or even cut them in half. Fortunately they were both small enough to eat in one bite. The texture was almost gummy. I don't think there was any crab. The arancini also had a bad texture and the taste was off. There is no doubt that both products came from the freezer. A low end freezer at that. Our entrees arrived and my husband's steak was grossly over cooked. When it was set down I could tell it was mid well! Then cam my fish! Wow! It was brown. The bernaise sauce was so thick it had cracked over the giant asparagus and the fish. There was the smallest amount of crab, I think under the 1/2 asparagus. I was in shock! the runner dropped the food and ran. It was our 10th wedding anniversary and my husband is a firefighter. He had a bad call the night before and was struggling, so I stayed quiet and told him I loved my evening with him and he said the same to me. We were both lying! It sucked! I hated it and would have never sat through that had it not have Been for the situation! Do not waste your money on the food! For god sake don't touch the nasty paper menus from the 90's!
