I wish the menu better described the dish I ordered, as there was no mention of the brown sauce, nor was I expecting the steak pieces to be floured. I purposely didn't order the other brown sauce dishes on the menu.
Visiting South Bend for business and I stopped by here because its in the same parking lot as my hotel. Walking in, it looks like a typical Chinese restaurant, with the low lighting, red and gold booths and golden cat decor and buddhas. The restaurant was quiet and not very busy, considering that I visited on a Monday night, I wasn’t too surprised. As far as the food, I wanted to try something new and ordered a chicken dish on the menu. Although I am not a big fan of water chestnuts...
Stayed at the Baymont hotel which basically shares a parking lot. Got carryout (pot stickers, crab rangoon, general tso's chicken, lo mein) and it was AWESOME. Totally recommend this place for anyone in the Notre Dame area.
