Go to go order , didn’t give me a lot of fries ,got 5 wings when it’s supposed to be more then this. Asked for bbq wings. Instead got a nasty flavor taste like garbage was not close to anything bbq. Also ordered a house burger with tots and this is what you call tots ?! Nothing was in the “tots” straight little grease

Riding on the coat tails of every other millennial hipster joint, and doing the worst job at it. Pretty bad stuff.

Howard Park Public House is absolutely incredible! From the moment we walked in, the experience was flawless. Jasmine, the GM, sets the tone perfectly with her warm and professional leadership, ensuring every visit is as amazing as the last. The consistency in service and quality here is truly unmatched.
One detail that really stood out was the lemon water being served without even having to ask—such an intentional touch that reflects their excellent attention to detail.
The food was outstanding—delicious, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. The entire team was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a restaurant that combines intentional service, consistent excellence, and phenomenal food, Howard Park Public House is a must-visit. You have to check this place out! We’ll definitely be back.

I wanted to love this cute place. It had a nice atmosphere with live music, which was great. Cranberry mule was wonderful. The goat cheese fondue was good. However, they did serve us undercooked hot honey chicken. The manager came out and offered us 50% off of the offending chicken and offered to replace the chicken. But it was hard to overlook the fact that it was the manager that initially brought the pink, undercooked chicken to our table. She said they were training new kitchen staff and we did see one other table have to send their chicken back as well. Disappointing experience.

This is not just a ‘burger joint’ but truly a gem of casual dining restaurant with above average menu options and daily specials. My husband and I hadn’t been there since early fall, but had lunch there last week and it was amazing! I tried one of the daily soup specials, Roasted Red Bell Pepper and Gouda, and fell in love! It was over the top delicious and after asking our waitress to relay my compliments to the chef, Chef Ben came out and spent time talking with us and sharing some preparation tips. He’s new to the restaurant, a few months, and is introducing some wonderful new menu options and daily specials. Want cocktails? They have your favorites plus introducing some special ones, which sounds delicious and exciting! I hope you’ll check them out. Everything we ordered was delicious and hot! Regrettably, we had no room for dessert, but they looked decadent! Highly recommend!!! Sorry I didn’t take pictures!

I was in town visiting family for Thanksgiving & was hanging out here with my little one while the rest of the family was ice skating. Onyx took amazing care of me & was very accommodating & attentive once the rest of the crew joined, (11 in total). Kelly was a hoot with my kiddo & kept getting smiles from him. Jasmine has a phenomenal team & it shows in the way they care for the customers. On top of great service & tasty food, (gotta get a hot chocolate on a cold day if that is your jam), there was live music that kept the whole place grooving. Will definitely go back next time we visit South Bend.

Was busy, but eventually, we got our food and drinks. Very cozy atmosphere. J&J musicians were very good.
Parking: Not much parking directly near building, need to park by the park
Wheelchair accessibility: Is accessible but difficult to navigate when crowded.

Awesome location along the river in the South Bend. The food is good, there's a full bar with a creative cocktail menu, and the staff is super friendly and attentive, led by General Manager Jasmine. You can tell they all take pride in what they're doing to give you an amazing dining experience!
