Went for breakfast. Had to return the food- 2 poached eggs on toast because it was so poorly cooked and presented. Coffee tasted only of milk. Requested a refund and was told it would take 3 days to process. Can’t recommend. Try Peggs instead….

Closed. The owners CLEARLY don't care about patrons wasting time, gas, and money. Because it's gruelingly difficult to login to a website with your fingers and be responsible and courteous.

Java is great. Centrally located, great place to work and meet colleagues. Friendly staff, big windows for sunlight. I enjoy introducing Java to others.

While in town for work stopped by to grab an americano and a bagel. Service was excellent, coffee spot on. Plenty of cream cheese on the bagel. Menu has variety of drinks and food to choose from. Plenty of room to meet up with colleagues or friends and family.

I loved this place when it first opened. Coffee, atmosphere and staff were great. I was like this is a place I could hang out. I am not a frequent visitor and it’s a treat when I’m in town to go. Fast forward the last two times I have been there July and Oct the staff have been very unfriendly. No smiles, no greeting you, they just stare at you until you order. :(. Coffee was still great but just makes me not want to go in there anymore.

Best coffee in south bend as a resident of the city for 35 years. In addition, they have Wonderful business and great service. I asked them to open early for my daughters wedding so we could have their coffee early in the morning and they happily obliged. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Favorite coffee shop in South Bend - my wife and I love to pull up and work on grad school with a warm Cocoa Blanco on the table. However, recently the staff seem to be inconvenienced to take your order, and they close the kitchen inordinately early on Saturdays. They're open till 3, but I've tried to order a sandwich (their club is amazing!) At 1 and I'm told the kitchen is closed.

This place has so much potential but i think just poorly staffed. I have gone there a handful of times and it’s continuously gotten worse. I went for my last time today and was handed 4 ounces of a latte in a 16 ounce to go cup.

Modern, clean cafe! Love the large floor to sealing windows! They make the space so bright no matter the weather outside. The coffee and food are also quite good. Tried their current fall drinks and was impressed!
