I always enjoy dining here; the food and service is great. They tweaked the menu a bit, so I decided to try a few of the newer items. The shrimps and grits were outstanding, better than anything I ate when I lived in the South(North Carolina). And the corn bread was amazing, and plenty of it to share. Thanks again for another great dining experience.

This is our favorite restaurant in the area. Great Food and Spirits and the service is exceptional!!

The steak was one of the worst steaks I've ever had in my life. It was cardboard, not made to order, and extremely tough. It was grade F meat. My husband said the pizza, not a Margareta as advertised, but just a plain cheese, was inedible. People probably go there because it's attached to a casino and they don't want to have to leave the compound. The Brussel sprouts, however, were the best ones I've ever had prepared.

Our server Virgina, was great. She was attentive to our party, was quick to check on our bar order and a very pleasant waiteress.

Went before a comedy show so wanted decent food without being as upscale as Copper Rock. Nice atmosphere here. They had a live musician which was a nice touch. They did have a limited menu for show night. We started off with the fried green bean appetizer which were nice and crispy served with 2 different ranch dipping sauces. Absolutely loved them and a nice big portion. I enjoyed the filet, definitely a petite cut same for the ribeye my husband enjoyed. Not super high quality but decent. The macaroni and cheese was really good. A thinner style white cheddar sauce on cavatappi pasta with big chunks of bacon. Really enjoyed it. Margarita used bottled sweet mix. Bloody mary was good tasted like Zing Zang with a nice little kick. Would definitely go back and give them another shot. Service was really good as well.

Probably the best ribeye steak I’ve had all kinds of different beers to choose from as well. I recommend trying the mango cart.

The place was not busy. Service was terrible. She must’ve had something else going on. Ask 3 times for stake sauce never did get it

Usually service and food have been very good at Kankakee Grill, but the last visit was disappointing. They did not have Grey Goose Vodka, the server got the order confused...pear vodka martini which was on their drink list was not available. After the order we waited about 15 minutes before she came back to tell us they did not have peach vodka. She then left and came back about 10 minutes later saying there was no Grey Goose vodka at all. She seemed very confused and unsure of herself. I asked for another waitress because everything was taking so long and when the first waitress was with us, she got things confused. The second waitress was very nice, but we waited a long time for our order...a ribeye with salad and chicken sandwich. The chicken in the sandwich was overdone...where dry. Even after we received our drinks and placed our order, people at the table next to us who arrived after we had placed our order, received their order before we did. They also had followed up on the long wait. They were short staffed and had not received their alcohol order. Waitress explained they only had one bartender and were short staffed in kitchen. They were not super busy, but definitely had staffing issues. Second waitress was very nice but they offered no discount for all the problems experienced. Will not be back for a long time

Always a great meal.. their soups, pizza, salads are beyond ordinary. Also top shelf margaritas with a sugar rim is awesome!!!

We went there for our anniversary and the food was amazing. They treated us to dessert which was delicious. Thank you

We aren't gamblers but... needed a place to eat and chat. Kankakee Grille was fantastic for meeting up and hanging out with friends. Fabulous food, wide selection of options, very friendly and efficient staff (Thank you Tanya!) and relatively low prices for what we go. Will go back again!

This place does not accommodate groups. No matter how big the group size is, they refuse to itemize checks. They will only do two checks per table. They also never ask how the steaks were cooked and two people in our party ordered filet. The steaks came out medium rare when they were ordered medium well. Anyone ordering a good steak should be asked if it is cooked properly. The service is good and the food is always above average but very expensive. For a restaurant and a casino, they should do a better job of accommodating people that spend a lot of money at the casino.
