Kankakee Grille South Bend

This place is a place we would definitely go back to! Food was great and the employees were top notch!

We love Kankakee Grille, but unfortunately, we requested a High Top Table near the live music and upon arrival were told there were no high tops available. We took a seat at a booth at the furthest point from the live music. Waitress (Tanya) was GREAT but the food was just average on this night.

Oh!! From the lovely hostess who seated us, yo our awesome server, to the excellent food, even the great band playing sets...this locale is awesome!!

Delicious food, great atmosphere and wonderful entertainment. Dined at Kankakee Grill on a Friday night before an event. The food was delicious and they had wonderful entertainment in the dining room. Great band that was not too loud and played delightful music. The setting was very pretty. There was a fireplace and beautiful windows showing a very pretty snowscape on the patio outside.

We were happy to be finished up before the singer started. Restaurant is so nice. The singing kind of ruined the ambiance. Now, a live string trio or quartet playing softly would have been lovely.

Always a good idea to reserve your table some evenings are really busy. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes are really good and you get a big sizable portion probably one of my favorites there and I'm not usually a meatloaf person.

The chefs ground beef and veggie soup was delish!!!! It had an awesome flavor with all the spices!

Pork chops were delicious, coming from my husband and I had thd rib eye which was good too. We both loved the brussel sprouts. Thd only complaint would be no bread served with dinner.

Have ordered the shrimp and grits a few times. Was my favorite till last night! Had a ton of sauce which smothered the food. I was in the bathroom all night sick and I had nothing else to eat that day.

Food was delicious. The service was great and the live entertainment was nice. Very nice experience.

We really enjoyed our dinner at the Kankakee Grille in South Bend. Our server was excellent, and the food was really good. We will eat there again when we are back at the Four Winds Casino.

food was very good and the service was good. took us about 45 minutes for everything was surprised how fast the service was.

Highly recommend the bacon jalapeno cheese dip for appetizer and the filet mignon for entree.

My wife ordered a plate of Nachos but explained that she did not like cheese sauces; Carla stated that they could sprinkle Cheese and melt it on top of the chips and chicken. When they arrived, that's all they were, Chips, sprinkled with Cheese and chicken. No onions, no black olives, nothing else. I ordered the Shaved Prime Rib Sandwich. Which wasn't bad, except the Roll was soaked, making the sandwich soggy, and the Truffle fries came out Lukewarm. My issues had nothing to do with the waitstaff, but were entirely with the cooking and management staff. I'm curious to see how you've rectified this on my next visit.

Awesome food, service and value!!! Highly recommend the daily specials!!! So good we are going back again tonight!!!
