Kankakee Grille South Bend

My wife ordered a plate of Nachos but explained that she did not like cheese sauces; Carla stated that they could sprinkle Cheese and melt it on top of the chips and chicken. When they arrived, that's all they were, Chips, sprinkled with Cheese and chicken. No onions, no black olives, nothing else. I ordered the Shaved Prime Rib Sandwich. Which wasn't bad, except the Roll was soaked, making the sandwich soggy, and the Truffle fries came out Lukewarm. My issues had nothing to do with the waitstaff, but were entirely with the cooking and management staff. I'm curious to see how you've rectified this on my next visit.

Food is excellent and consistent every visit. Our server was fantastic, always checking on us and filling drinks.

NOT A CUSTOMER-FRIENDLY RESTAURANT. I find the "band" to loud for dinner music, needs to tone it down so you can carry on a pleasant conversation during the dinner hours. Your BILLING PRACTICES & SEATING RULES are not customer friendly! Only 2 bills per table - WHAT? Never heard of this in any other restaurant - ever! And what is with all of your "seating rules" ? These rules have turned us away from the Kankakee Grille.

We always enjoy our time at Four Winds Southbend. Kankakee Grill has a great variety of delicious food. The food is reasonably priced.

Had the best time!! Wish I requested an outdoor table but you could hear the live music inside so that was a plus.

Orzo lemon soup special fabulous. Shaved prime rib sandwich disappointing. The was not even warmed or caramelized on griddle prior to serving.

Great place to eat. Great food and service. I always try something different at this restaurant and I will come back to this restaurant. The entertainment is also what makes it a fun place.

everything was excellent as usual. The hostess, the service, the food, the ambiance were their normal excellence.

I always enjoy dining here; the food and service is great. They tweaked the menu a bit, so I decided to try a few of the newer items. The shrimps and grits were outstanding, better than anything I ate when I lived in the South(North Carolina). And the corn bread was amazing, and plenty of it to share. Thanks again for another great dining experience.

This is our favorite restaurant in the area. Great Food and Spirits and the service is exceptional!!

The steak was one of the worst steaks I've ever had in my life. It was cardboard, not made to order, and extremely tough. It was grade F meat. My husband said the pizza, not a Margareta as advertised, but just a plain cheese, was inedible. People probably go there because it's attached to a casino and they don't want to have to leave the compound. The Brussel sprouts, however, were the best ones I've ever had prepared.

Our server Virgina, was great. She was attentive to our party, was quick to check on our bar order and a very pleasant waiteress.
