So long awaited and totally devastated....I use to live local and bought these cookies multiple times a week.With 4 kids, we ate our fair share, to say the least. ?Even after we moved, I did what I could to seek them out. (The Blueberry Fest and gas stations, etc.)I have tried several times, to catch the store open, while doing errands in South Bend, but never seem to time it right.I finally got a chance to have some yumminess today. (Well, so I had anticipated.)I got home, opened the box and frumped! ? The cookies were only ⅛" thick and had a 1/16" of flour residue, on the bottom.The frosting was still as delicious as I had remembered, but I couldn't even taste the cookie.Maybe my next chance meeting, they will be the normal ¼" that a sugar cookie should be and I can experience that wonderful memory of them.
