I have been coming here for years I will never go to any one else for good bread and always fresh daily
I was so disappointed! I drove to La Central Panaderia (for the first time ever) on my lunch break to get some donuts and there was nobody manning the store. I looked around at all of the cases, it all smelled really good- and the pastries were beautiful... I waited a few minutes but nobody ever came out to greet me. I'm not really sure how it works, I didn't see any boxes or bags to take them to-go. So I just left and went to Jenny's Panaderia instead. It might be worth putting in some kind of door alarm, or bell... so you guys know when someone is in your bakery.
They did whatever they wanted with my cake order, It was supposed to have peach at the top and it was supposed to say Feliz Cumpleaños. It’s a Tres leches media plancha cake $65 (which is like alot). The order is always written on those receipt pads that transfers the writing onto the page below. It was written on the wrong page and didn’t get the copy of the description and we were only given the transaction receipt. We came to get it today and they had put Happy Birthday instead and had no peaches. The lady there always seems like she’s agitated or acts like she never wants to be there. We had asked that wasn’t it supposed to have peaches and she said that they ran out. My family has came here for many years enjoying their pan dulce but it’s always the cake orders they get wrong. This isn’t the first time either. Pretty disappointing.
I recently visited La Central Panaderia and overall, I had a positive experience with their baked treats. The pastries and baked goods were quite delicious and satisfying. However, I did notice that the lady running the place didn't seem very interested in interacting with us. It was close to closing time, so perhaps she was busy or tired. Despite this, it didn't significantly impact my enjoyment of the treats. I would recommend checking out La Central Panaderia for their tasty baked goods, but keep in mind that the customer service might be a bit lacking towards the end of the day.
La Central put together gift baskets for the Center for the Homeless. Not only were they delicious but they were so beautiful. The staff was amazing to work with. Cannot say enough amazing things!

OMG LOVED it! Definitely will be back, as often as I can..over the weekend! A HUGE variety of delicious pastries. The smell as you walk was so deligjtful...yum! I truly wanted to buy 1 or 2 of everything lol ?
Never had a bad experience. They go above and beyond to make sure we have the best pan and service. Worth our drive every time!
We’ve been stopping in for years, and have never been disappointed. Their bread is always fresh and their prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend!
Well went from Elkhart to S.Bend to buy Mexican sweet thinking it would be a little cheaper to buy at the main bakery instead of at a Mexican grocery store. But it cost the same as it did in Elkhart so it wasn't worth the drive. Won't go back.
Their cakes are not the great quality they were years ago.
