One of our steaks, ordered med rare, was rare. We sat at 7:30 and didn't eat until 9:10. The rest of the food was just ok. Also didn't ask about allergies. Didn't know there would be nuts sprinkled on top of the cheese plate.

Waitstaff was pleasant and knowledgeable. Food was good. However, it took 50 minutes to get our first entrees! Don't think it is worth the money spent.

I was excited to try LaSalle Grill for the first time during Winter Restaurant weeks. The options on the Three Course menu were interesting and a nice variety. My friend and I each ordered a drink - neither which were available. We each enjoyed our appetizer choice - flavors were great, nice portions. The entrees were disappointing, really lacking flavor or having one flavor overpowering. I ordered the Braised Beef Gnocchi. The sun-dried tomatoes overpowered the whole dish. Way too many. The beef lacked flavor and was fatty and stringy. The desserts were good but overall the experience was disappointing for this type of establishment.

It was my wife's birthday and we were greeted cordially. Difficult to get server back for small items like salt & pepper . The liver pate was tasteless. The sirloin was tough; my filet fine but the aux pauvire was served separate and not on meat. The desert ‘trio' included a blue scoop of ‘We are not sure'! The espresso was good.

The service and food were exceptional. The attention to our anniversary, with the card and mention on the menu were so appreciated!

Great service and the food was delicious. Avoid going here during a home game especially if you are wanting a quiet and romantic evening. Overall everything was great.

LaSalle is always on it's A game. Staff, menu, atmosphere consistently hold the bar high for all other dining experiences. It is always one of our favorite places to dine and celebrate.

What a great restaurant! My bride and I were celebrating our 20th and it was wonderful. From the follow-up to confirm reservation to the card from the staff wishing us Happy Anniversary to the custom anniversary menu to the amazing food we could not have been happier. Wonderful place for any special occasion. Would 1000% go back any chance.

The food was great. Very flavorful.

The service was slow and we had to repeat our requests more than once which was disappointing for the cost.

This was the second time my wife and I had went, we took another couple celebrating there marriage to be in a week. The service was excellent they went out of there way to make the couple feel special without going over board and making a scene. The food was spot on, our waitress was the perfect amount of attentive, and the price point was as advertised. My wife and I will go back for as long as they'll have us.

Great pre-game dinner before ND-USC night game. Surprisingly, the restaurant was empty so service was very attentive. All the entrees were very good - filet, fish, and lamb. Service was very good as we had the waiter all to ourselves. Very dependable choice when you are in South Bend.

We had the loveliest evening. Victoria made us feel like we were the only table in the place on a very busy Friday. Everyone was friendly, the filet was tender and well seasoned…. It was an outstanding experience.

I was disappointed in our meal at La Salle. The restaurant has not been updated in a long time and was extremely loud. We were told by our server to order appetizers so it wouldn't seem like an overly long wait for our mains. Our steaks were undercooked (medium rare was very rare.) The crab cake appetizer was not very tasty and was about as small as can be. We will not be going back for a while.

Service was mediocre at best. . Food was ok. No reason to let a party of 4 sit w empty plates for 20 min. Terrible. Ambience was fine. We have no desire to return. One of the girls in our party wanted to order an espresso martini your machine was broken. Then another person in our party wanted to order Woodford old-fashioned and you were out of Woodford. Then he wanted to order lamb dish and you were out of it. Our reservation was 730 on a Thursday night before arguably, the busiest weekend of the year !! Seriously? So disappointing

We celebrated my husband's birthday last night with an awesome experience at La Salle Grill. JC was our server & he was outstanding. Our menus even included a personalized birthday message and a signed birthday card was on our table when seated. We shared a wedge salad, he had lamb chops and I had filet mignon. Both were perfectly cooked and the portion large enough to enjoy today too! No room for dessert, but we were tempted by the choices. Definitely returning next time in South bend. Thanks for such an enjoyable evening!
