Our server, who also mixed our delightful 100 K Manhattans was lovely. I had the duck tacos that had good flavors, but the duck was dry- probably overcooked. My husband had shrimp and grits. The chef needs to do a bit of a dive in how to make delicious grits. This entree lives or dies on how good the grits are. These were bland, made with water, not butter and whole milk. Instant grits?

The live music was excellent. I enjoyed the food and the service was good. The bourbon and scotch list was great.Parking: Make sure you give yourself an extra 10-15 minutes to find parking and walk.

Usually the food here is great but we ordered the Roasted Poblano and Corn Quesadilla $16 this week and it came out like a .50c cheese quesadilla that my 10 yrs old could make. Super disappointed that the server and manager did very little to fix the situation. They only brought a small condiment bowl of roasted corn!!

The food is outstanding and the staff are so friendly. When I loved the house made kimchi the chef came up to talk to us and brought us samples of the house made pickles. Save room for dessert and order the suggested alcohol pairing...the skill of the sommelier is nothing short of magical.

The food is on point and priced well, the cocktails are inventive and beautiful, the whiskey list is extensive, the service is unmatched AND live music every weekend? LKT is a downtown gem.Vegetarian options: Asian nachos are ?Kid-friendliness: Shuffleboard & many menu items are kid friendly. They are great with modifications!

Made reservation for 5:30 pm because we were to attend a nearby concert event. Upon arrival at restaurant we were told we did not have a reservation for the main area (fine dining) but for the bar 3 floors above. We were seated in the bar area and it was head pounding noisy. Shortly after placing our order for steaks(2-3 minutes) we were served those steaks. We had not received our appetizer, salads or drinks yet therefore we refused our steaks. The food server took them back to keep them warm he said. A few moments later our waitress came by and we told her what happened. She apologized and said the she told the kitchen to make new steaks. After we received our salads, bread and drinks our steaks came again but were cold along with the accompanying potato and vegetable. It was obvious that we were served the original steaks that were well over 30 minutes old. The waitress again apologized and gave us free dessert. Overall the food was very good and the waitress was very good, however the rest of the staff was apparently overwhelmed by the crowd. I think they deserve a second chance on a less busy night.

We had a great dinner before a concert at the LaSalle Kitchen & Tavern. Our waiter made sure we were served in a way that guaranteed we would make our concert on time. It was a bit hard to hear due to the fact there was a full restaurant however the experience was great and we enjoyed it.

Music is slightly too loud to hold conversation in my opinion. Kaya (spelling?) was our server and was excellent. Very friendly! Bartender was nice, too and had some good dance moves LOL

Music was way too loud. Came away with a headache. Waited 75 min for an overpriced burger at $18. Charged an extra $2 for fries and $2 for Gouda cheese (which they didn’t mention when I ordered it). So $24 for a dry, room-temp burger with a hair in it that I had to pull out of my mouth. Will not be going back.

Great pub atmosphere and live music by the Whateverly Brothers. Had a good burger. Service was slow although it wasn't very crowded.

This will be my last time at lasalle kitchen and Tavern. I've never had a chance to review before, but I've never left their feeling good about my experience. Hamburger was overcooked and bun severely burnt on one side. Fries were cold and soggy. It took awhile to get our food and it seems to have been sitting there awhile. Will stick to main restaurant from now on.

Outstanding food, drinks, and service! We started with crispy brussel sprouts and loved them. I always a French dip when I see it on a menu and LaSalle K&T's was phenomenal. My wife had the steak salad and was impressed. All three dishes were generously portioned. We finished with an apple crisp and caramel sea salt gelato—so good. The cocktail list was among the most interesting I've seen in South Bend and the two drinks we tried were great. LaSalle K&T also has a great beer list. I had a stout (S'Morbidly Obese from Cervisiam) which I hadn't tried before and enjoyed it. All of our food came out quickly and hot. Our server was attentive (but not overly so) and knowledgeable about the menu.
