When you’re looking for good food, Macri’s Italian Bakery is the place to go in the SB area. I always feel like I am Italy when I visit this bakery. My eyes are always overwhelmed by all of the delicious pastries that are presented in the bakery cases. They have everything from donuts to pies to cookies to cakes. They make pasta and pizza on site, and you can order to go. My favorites are the stuffed gnocchi and their alfredo sauce that you can take to make at home later. Their gnocchi is like none I’ve had anywhere else, and you can really taste the fresh ingredients in their alfredo. If you are new to the SB area, this is a definite must-visit.

Not sure why of the negative reviews but we had a pleasant experience and wouldn't hesitate to return. We ate italian grinder,ham and cheese panini, arancini riceballs ,and mozzarella sticks. Food was good, service was great and employees all were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean including the restrooms. We will return to eat there and get pastries from the bakery.

This review is solely on the bakery and the disappointment I have had in my experience with only the blueberry muffins.
This is no exaggeration when I say that EVERY TIME I have purchased a blueberry muffin I am disappointed because it usually has only 1-3 blueberries.
This photo is from yesterday where I found ONE blueberry in the entire muffin. One. For costing nearly $3 and being a bakery, I would expect more. It’s really frustrating this happens every time when I have had an impulse to stop in to the bakery. Never again.
