This review is solely on the bakery and the disappointment I have had in my experience with only the blueberry muffins.
This is no exaggeration when I say that EVERY TIME I have purchased a blueberry muffin I am disappointed because it usually has only 1-3 blueberries.
This photo is from yesterday where I found ONE blueberry in the entire muffin. One. For costing nearly $3 and being a bakery, I would expect more. It’s really frustrating this happens every time when I have had an impulse to stop in to the bakery. Never again.

Absolutely loved our experience here!! From the bakery case to the fresh pizza and panini.. it’s like being back in Boston. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
Macri's is not only a staple for South Bend. It's also an amazingly run, family owned establishment. I recommend the food and the atmosphere to anyone who is new to the area.
Ordered soup to go and it was barely tepid. They're solution to my distaste was just to reheat it and hand it back to me. I had high hopes for their product and service but I'm highly disappointed.

This bakery is a wonderful find! I will be driving 2 hours again in the future for their wonderful food - the gelato was the best i have ever had.

I went in with my three small children to get gelato after their flu shots, and I asked for each child to have one scoop. This first confused the employee, who then told me I would be paying for the full price ($7) of two scoops regardless. So instead of pricing per scoop, I was charged $14 for two of my children to each have one scoop of gelato. Pretty frustrating and way overpriced. 🙄
