When you’re looking for good food, Macri’s Italian Bakery is the place to go in the SB area. I always feel like I am Italy when I visit this bakery. My eyes are always overwhelmed by all of the delicious pastries that are presented in the bakery cases. They have everything from donuts to pies to cookies to cakes. They make pasta and pizza on site, and you can order to go. My favorites are the stuffed gnocchi and their alfredo sauce that you can take to make at home later....
Not sure why of the negative reviews but we had a pleasant experience and wouldn't hesitate to return. We ate italian grinder,ham and cheese panini, arancini riceballs ,and mozzarella sticks. Food was good, service was great and employees all were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean including the restrooms. We will return to eat there and get pastries from the bakery.
Absolutely loved our experience here!! From the bakery case to the fresh pizza and panini.. it’s like being back in Boston. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
