I never knew the proper way to eat oysters, and this was the first place that actually told me how! Not I like eating oysters! And their burgers are FABULOUS too!

This place was pretty lame. The service at the bar was good but the cod came out like mashed potatoes, the seafood platter looked like a kids meal and they charged me $6 when I asked for extra sauce. Dang…. Don’t come here if you’re looking for good food.

Well we are here for lunch, it was my idea as I had saw a review that they had the best ham and cheese sandwich around, WRONG, mostly cheese, very little ham and bread was not crunchy, more soggy, the onion rings were plentiful, if only they weren't broken all up and 3 or 4 were fried together some were dark some light, plus the fries were beyond plentiful, if only cooked to crispness, they would of been good, alot of food, we split one meal but very disappointed in the food and inside was smelly and dingy dark for lunch, even the water was not good until we added lemon. Won't be going back there, parking bad too,, so whoever gave them a good rating sure didn't get a meal like ours, we ate some and bringing the rest home to recook and after this if I ever encounter a meal like this I will speak up rightaway, we had a nice waitress, cooked near us, a lady and she must of banged on pots and pans for at least 5 minutes straight. The waitress did call the owner about our bill, I just wanted my bread toasted and more ham but she said we could get just get more onion rings, we said no, since we had eatin most of our sandwich we took the rest of our food home to reheat. SO I GUESS YOU CAN'T ALWAYS RELY ON REVIEWS OF A PLACE CAUSE OUR LUNCH WAS A DISATER.

I ve been coming here it was actually on Madison St, and it sure has gone nothing but downhill for the last decade. The 3rd floor is never even open anymore. Dead crowds, worn byilding, and decor. We sat for 30 minutes at a table without service across from the bar. After about 25 minutes, the server went to the table next to us even though we had been there much longer. We continued to wait and still were not even able to order a drink or food. It's pathetic, and I m tired of being disappointed by this place. There are plenty of better options in town. This one has become just another Mccormicks.

Holy shit i just had the madison oyster smash burger and that's the best GD burger I've ever had.
1st time here! Burger was yummy but the amaretto sours I had...best I've ever had!!!

I came here to celebrate my birthday as a night cap with oysters and drinks! The oysters were juicy and succulent. I also had an oyster shooter which was superbly tasty! Our server was phenomenal recommending some cool shots and beers to wash them down with!

Nice Place. Once inside and seated down by the bar you get a relaxed New Orleans feeling or even Old Town Boston . With an open kitchen at the end of the bar you can watch your food being made and the chefs making their art. Service was good , cocktails were on point and that ole school feeling makes it all tie in. This was a Fun stop. Cheers!
