The food and service were great. I've been two days in a row. Decent portions of food will fill you up.
Good place to shop Hispanic food
Good produce
A bit expensive
The food at the restaurant is amazing! The grocery story is fantastic as well! Definitely worth checking out if you haven't discovered this gem before.
They don't have a lot of Puerto Rican food, mi esposo is Puerto Rican I was shopping for him.
Quite literally the BEST taco place in the city!!! Hands down. The Quesa Birria is absolutely to DIE for and the quality is consistently good. The service is fast and the hosts are typically friendly. The bathrooms are always clean & smell fresh. The rice is DELICIOUS! However Beans are sometimes a hit or miss unfortunately. The portion sizes are very fair, I’d say they are pretty big compared to other spots! The prices are good also! Anytime I post the quesa birria on social media I get tons of people wanting to know WHERE?! These usually don’t even need an extra side of consume because they’re so moist and full of flavor. Small comfortable hometown feel, but I have never had to wait on a seat even on weekends despite it being an evidently popular stop for lunch or dinner! Extra seating at the bar top as well. $4 beers.
Reasonable prices at grocery store
Delicious food first time here definitely coming back
Canned and dry foods only ok. The meat department is not so good. Convenient store prices. You will not get your money's worth.
Really good authentic Mexican food. Prices are still low compared to other places (8.99 for a taco dinner is amazing in 2025!) They have great slow cooked meats, soups and stews like birria, chicharron in red or green sauce, and carnitas on weekends. They are one of the few places that offer grilled jalapeños and cebollitas. They don't make good burritos though. They have THE BEST homemade salsas and sauces. Most of the servers don't speak English but are really nice and take time to understand your order. There's always a lot of Mexican men in there eating and that's a good sign for me!
The food here has been really good every time we've been here. Service is good. Market has alot of fresh produce. 10/10 Recommend.
This place used to be really good. I went there today for A burrito and it was completely cold. I’m not sure if they don’t have a stove anymore. Where is burrito I ever had

There are many products that we need, some of them expensive.
Great food!
Best authentic Mexican food in South Bend, IMHO.
Convenient location. Friendly staff. For being a small grocery store they have good variety. The restaurant had good tacos and spicy salsa.
Great food, nice people! My wifes favorite is there Chile Rellenos! Very good tacos, quesadilla birria, and also very good carnitas...... when they are not out of them!!
