Welcome to my novel. Buckle up. Went in at 4pm on a Friday and were the only ones there. A few people did come later. Immediately noticed a weird smell, we should have left but didn't want to be rude. We were sat near the kitchen (this is important). After we sat down, I told my husband "this place is weird", he said "I think the server is just scary". We ordered coffee milk tea, no taste of coffee, but it was still fine. I did also order a water and never received it. Ordered pork bao buns to start, pork was all fat, not super good but it was fine. My sweet potato roll was good. I ordered the pad Thai, it came out RED and so spicy that I could not eat it. Maybe I could have if I had a water. My husband did eat it and said it was very good. He ordered the soba soup with tofu. He said the tofu was not seasoned at all, it was fried in large chunks, because of this, the broth could not penetrate the tofu so it ended up being very flavorless. He ate the tofu with the pad Thai. So I already would not return for the food. Now, for the best part of my story. We are eating and we start hearing some arguing from the kitchen. It seems to be two servers, ours and another server arguing. They were yelling back and forth about who needs to fold napkins, place silverware, and place chopsticks. There is a woman back in the kitchen yelling "you're not my boss don't tell me what to do" and our server saying "you're wrong you're wrong". Then another voice gets involved and our server starts yelling at him. At one point we hear that he's going to take him outside, he says "n-word I'll drop his ass" and keeps saying over and over "you're just a dishwasher wash your dishes mind your own business". He uses every cuss word in the book. She's yelling something about "I've been here longer you're not my boss don't tell me what to do". This goes on for probably 5 minutes. During this whole argument, our server is still coming out to check on us, bringing us to go containers, and bringing us our check so props to him. Once we had paid, we sprinted out of there to leave. As we walk out, it gets quiet in the kitchen - like silent. Once outside, there's a group of three employees out back arguing. I forgot to mention, our server was a 6'5" 300+ pound man, he is a big boy. So we see him, a very small maybe 5' woman and another employee. They are clearly arguing and yelling at one another. We sat in the car to watch for a while (they definitely saw us watching). Then THE SMALL LADY STARTS PUSHING THE BIG BOY. She wants that smoke. So she's pushing him and he's trying to walk back inside. He just keeps walking in and she's trying to shut the door in his face and not let him in. She even pulls the back of his shirt to stop him. He did get inside. Then we left. Thank you Miguel and NOKU staff for the questionable dinner and a show. I am refreshing Google and Facebook to find an update on this situation. If you work here, I would love to hear what happened, I feel like I am a part of this story now, so let me know. 20% tip but one star since I didn't eat dinner.
Get the Volcano sushi roll! It’s really good. Our server was great! He was funny and had great recommendations about what to eat. The Lobster Rangoon was great as well! I’ll definitely go back to this place.

I love their sushi bar. (Usually the non-raw options.) I've been there several times now. The service has always been excellent and the food, superb! Easily one of my favorite restaurants!

Went to Noku with Rocco. Rocco ordered some kind of lobster dish. The lobster was terribly overcooked and tough. I ordered tuna tartar. The pic on the left is from the menu. The pic on the right is what the tuna actually looked like that I was served. It looked like canned cat food and tasted nasty. I said I was so displeased and felt misled. The tuna was not cubed and definitely not what was represented on the menu. They didn’t want to take it off my bill. The waiter and whom I anticipate was the manager told me I should ask questions before ordering. I could hear them talking about me from the bar area, and it wasn’t nice! They finally took only the tuna tartar off the bill. Rocco didn’t even eat but a few bites of his food. They did admit the pics of food on the menu are not from the actual restaurant and they were aware it needed to be updated to reflect the actual food served. Buyer beware, if you go here and order anything, be sure to ask if they are actually going to serve the menu item listed or canned cat food!🤮

I recently dined at Asian Bristo & Sushi Bar and had an amazing experience! The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The Hibachi dinner was a highlight - it was hearty and generous, easily enough to feed three people. The price was great too, offering excellent value for the quantity and quality of food. Highly recommend! 5/5 stars

I was just here with my family earlier today and let me just say the whole experience was just mind blowing, from the service to the flavor of the food and drinks! I got the steak hibachi dinner and I asked for it to be cooked medium rare and not only did they deliver but it was so flavorful and delicious. The veggies they choose to pair it with tasted so fresh and exquisite. I got the crunchy sushi roll and the taste was so immaculate I’m already ready to go back! They also have super delicious boba I got the strawberry milk tea with strawberry popping boba and it was just perfect. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone it’s so worth the trip :))
You'll pay for what you don't like. Chicken teriyaki is grilled and covered in teriyaki sauce, not a breaded chicken patty covered in mystery sauce. If you don't like it, $2 upcharge to not eat it. 3 of the 4 sushi rolls were good, but to not eat half a roll I didn't like either $4 to leave it or upcharge another $1 to take it home and throw it away myself. May have been just a bad first experience, but it was my last.
Excellent sushi!
We have been here twice and sadly after the second time we won't be returning. My husband and I went with our 5 year old daughter and all got AYCE sushi. We ordered some apps and sushi and planned to share with her. Our daughter did not eat a single thing. We asked if we could pay for her lemonade but not be charged for AYCE because she didn't eat. The server asked the manager and they still made us pay. I personally think that's ridiculous.
I'm giving two stars because the food is okay, the service was actually great. I did not feel the restuarant was the cleanest. And I can't get over the fact they really made us pay for a child who didn't eat anything.
Owner Barry road the food is very good in the sushi is all fresh made in front of you p just the owner is rude
