Very generous portions for the price, except to wait a bit for your order, especially if they are moderately busy but the atmosphere and coffee will carry you through. 😉

By the way... You can order a Steak Omelette even though it's not on the menu. 🤫

One of the main reasons I'm giving this a 1 star rating is they charge 65 cents per egg surcharge. I had 2 eggs, and the person I was with had 2 eggs. That's $2.60 extra on top of cost for the food for 4 eggs! Walmart sells a dozen large eggs for $2.96! Quit gouging your customers!! Bad business.
I could have got the same exact breakfast at a different restaurant for $6. I'm not gonna name the restaurant because I don't know if I can on a review but there is a restaurant here in South Bend with great food, wonderful staff, better prices & no egg surcharge!

If that wasn't bad enough, our waitress never came back to refill coffee. I had to holler at her from across the room and there were only 5 tables and they had 3 waitresses!

Food was great and servers were friendly and nice. Not very fast but was nice to not be rushed.

We stopped by this place before heading to the commencement at Notre Dame. We were able to walk in and were seated immediately which was nice for a Sunday morning. Our server was bright and bubbly, and this place has the feel of a small town hang where the staff knows their regulars.

It has an extensive menu with lots of diner type options, and is super affordable. However, it took us 35 minutes to get our food, which was disappointing. We had to eat really quickly. It would have been understandable if they were really busy, but they weren't.

Luckily, the food was yummy. We just couldn't really enjoy it since we had to rush.

Excellent over-easy eggs, bacon & pancakes!

Price-to-Food Quality ratio is way off. Food was good diner food but not $20 worth. Also theres a 5% charge for credit card users and the prices in the menu aren't the same as what they really are ($1+), not crazy off but not a fan of any surprise upcharge. Good service and good atmosphere. My overall rating is based purely on that I think its overpriced, and upcharges are given at the very end when you get the bill

Always fantastic food

There’s a lot of vintage items that are the decor here and all the waitresses work together. They all serve coffee to everybody even if they’re not their customer pretty amazing place. One of the waitress was awesome! She stopped I asked for lemons, and joked around with us which made my day!

One of the best places in town for breakfast. Omelet big enough to share. Great and friendly service. I love Nancy and Beth!!

People there are extremely helpful, friendly, and the environment is just a vibe also.

This was our first time here and it was amazing!
My husband had a strawberry waffle and it filled his plate and tasted wonderful.
He also had hot chocolate and it wasn't made from a power mix! I had some of his and it was the best!
I had French toast, bacon, scrambled eggs, and coffee. Everything tasted great! We like our bacon crispy, and it sure was. I believe they baked it! Another plus! Eggs and coffee were good as well.
Service was great! With a smile and fast service!
One more plus, my coffee cup was never empty.

Service was horrible, the lady never came back to check on us and it took forever for her to take our order. The bathrooms smelled like an outhouse. And the food was gross. The eggs were so underdone the whites were slimy, the blueberry pancakes were gritty and had no flavor. Definitely overpriced for what it’s worth.

Nice family style restaurant. Great service. The fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious. The quantities were great. You won’t go hungry here.
