Stake and red sauce only. Great place, just not a lot of options. It's a little costly for what you get. But the food is

Worst meal I can ever remember eating. Didn't even eat my food and left to eat dinner again elsewhere. My Veal Piccata was barely edible and my wife's Spaghetti Carbonara I actually had to spit out. My son's Lasagna was merely edible.

The most disgusting Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at and will never return.

Food was underwhelming. Not a lot of flavor. We had the Arancini, toasted ravioli, and bruschetta appetizers and they were ok - not worth the price. For dinner all the pastas needed salt. I was very impressed with the meatballs and I am a meatball efficianado - self-proclaimed. They charge you for ice in your bar drinks, even when you don’t specifically order it and when asked about the charge we were told - I’m the bartender and that’s how I make it. Drinks arrived watered down or incorrect to boot. The server was also the host and bartender, seemed to be the only one working and wasn’t particularly good at any of his jobs a at least not the night we visited - could have been an off night. Very disappointed after reading all the raving reviews.Responding to owner: server was not engaged and I can show you my receipt that shows two separate charges for ice and the explanation expressed in this review is the one provided by the server when questioned about the charge. We ordered a gin and tonic and a Grey Goose and cranberry - mixed drinks. I would encourage you to speak with your server and ensure he understands how to charge for bar drinks.

Great service, great price, amazing food. The atmosphere of Parisi's is perfect for a date night, that along with a wonderful staff and amazing appetizers, salads, and entrees leaves you with an amazing dinner out.

I'm literally writing this from the restaurant. This place is hands down the best around. The service from our waiter Eric and the bartender Rachel was amazing, they made sure we had everything we needed and were just all around amazing. My Brother and I both had the Veal Parmesan and my Lady had the Pork Chop. The food was so good and the meat was very tinder,, especially for as thick the pork chop was. They cooked it to perfection. The only issue was my lady liked the pork chop so much she tried to swallow a piece way to big and ended uo choking, walked over to me purple holding her neck, instantly I turned her around and gave her the heimlich maneuver and got it cleared. Instead of flipping out or wanting to leave, she loved it so much she went right back to her dinner like nothing ever happened. Rachel was so kind during it and probably a bit startled but my Lady and I are both Military Veterans so a little choking isn't ruining a great dinner. For desert was the best Tiramisu. The whole meal and just atmosphere was second to none and it was a great night with my brother and my lady. We recommend Parisi's for the best dinner in South Bend.

We were visiting South Bend on a chilly weekend to watch some basketball. After the game, we were just trying to find an open restaurant. Parisi's was a great find. The menu is not long. However, what they make (homemade), they make quite well. The restaurant was not crowded, as Notre Dame was not back in session yet. However, our waitress seemed pleased to see us and was helpful with menu questions. My only complaint is that it was a little dark. Though it made for a pleasant atmosphere, it was hard to read the menu. Perhaps that is something I should take up with my eye doctor instead. Great food. Nice folks. If we get this far north again, we'll be back.

I tried this place for the first time, and service was good...the main course was not really to my liking, but I chalk that up to personal taste, not necessarily a reflection of the food...the major turn off was the very loud conversation from the kitchen, which could clearly be heard in dining area...it sounded like a fast food restaurant

Food not very flavorful especially their red sauce, like out of a can. Portions good but prices way too high for food the was meat. You pay for the candlelight atmosphere and being near Notre Dame. Will not go gack.
