Unfortunately a has-been chicken restaurant I've been watching them deteriorate in Elkhart in Goshen for decades so badly they closed up all the restaurants there then they opened one up in South bend and it's not very good
I went to the drive through and no one asked to take my order sat there for 5minutes trying to get someone to answer gave up and went to the pay window no one was there went to the order pickup window no one was there for like 8 minutes then they finally came after waving them down to come take our order then it took approximately 45 minutes to get two fish sandwiches one with cheese and one without cheesy fry's and some Cole slaw which I didn't get and a sweet tea oh yes i wanted a strawberry shake but they had no shakes dissatisfied!!!!!
Good food made fresh, restaurant got off to a rocky start but solid now. Their new crispy chicken sandwich has flavorful breading and juicy tender chicken inside, sandwich was obviously made fresh to order. Personally I’ve always had great service and food here. Definitely give this place a try when you’re in the area.
We ordered pork tenderloin sandwiches and an order of fries. We we got home th fries were missing, and instead of lettuce on the sandwich, there was chopped cabbage. We tried several times to contact them by phone, but no one answered. We will never order from them again.
The staff was very polite and made sure we had everything gave us napkins and all of our condiments. Best chicken strips and shakes AND SERVICE I've had from any fast food place in months!! Definitely will be coming quite often. Thanks y'all!
I've been eating PP food for 30 plus years, and the quality is still great. Fresh homemade ingredients and the tenderloin sandwich is one of a kind.
I ended up here because they had their dining area open to the public, they were courteous they helped me to understand the menu. I like to go in when I order my food, to get a face to face interaction to make a better choice's. I was able to do this at this location, prior to just going to a restaurant not even 25 ft from this one, and was not allowed in. Thank you for having your lobby open, I was able to patronize your business.
I had to repeat my order 3times at the drive thru speaker and 2x at the window and STILL was overcharged for an order I did not place, and did not get the simplest of order, one 1/4 burger with just ketchup, mayo and mustard, small order of fries. Burger came w/o mayo....how can you screw up an order with 3 simple condiments? And they took so long the vehicle in front pulled out and I paid for that order. Must every single item, the receipt bag and sandwich be deconstructed before an order give FIVE TIMES be given and charged correctly?
Penguin Point should have done their homework before coming to South Bend, our gas station chicken is better than this. How are they even still in business lol? It's hard to imagine a more disgusting meal, so I guess anyone can be a restaurant owner these days and make tons of cash selling garbage. Inspirational.
Very salty, burger was made to order but somehow it was cold. Worst food will not go there again.

Burger with toasted bun was very good. Crinkle fries were tasty and not over-salted. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to trying nee items.
Super salty food for both the chicken tenders and the tenderloin sandwich. Without a huge helping of their white gravy to drown the salty taste the chicken tenders would not be edible. Weirdly enough though, there was either no salt on the French fries or there was so much in the other items maybe I missed it...nice staff, but not good enough food to come back.
Managers, train your workers. It's getting like this everywhere you go now. Don't get me started about the lousy management we had at JC Penney Distribution in Forest Park, Ga. People will go somewhere else.
Burgers were undercooked tasting, fall apart and raw looking. I ate 5hete twice on 2 separate days and both times I was served Luke warm burgers that looked undercooked and tasted like those cheap patties you get 50 of for $5 at a thrift store. All and all, I felt sick to my stomach after eating there both times and will not be going back. If in the area it will be either of the A's surrounding them, Allen's or Arby's.I don't tolerate undercooked food.
Never go there again! First and last time ever! My daughter and I were the only customers in the drive-thru, took forever to get our sandwiches, ordered 2 chocolate shakes both were awful tasted like spoiled milk!! I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone!!?
