The bouncers here let me through security tonight and then halfway through my FIRST drink of the night, kicked me out because “I MIGHT act wild because I have rips in my jeans”. They were not excessively ripped, and my knees barely showed through. Also, I feel I should mention, the bartender had ripped jeans. Completely ridiculous.

Had a great time at Remedy during my visit to the South Bend. I arrived around 11pm and the DJ was on point, mixing the most popular current songs. The crowd was early 20s to mid 30s. Small cover of $5. Two pool tables were in use during my visit. Didn't have any food or drinks, but the bar was extremely busy and many were eating. I did notice a police presence, which provided an extra level of comfort, security wise. When leaving around 1:45am there was a line. True testament to the establishment when people are lined up to get in.
Great burgers—simple, perfectly juicy burger, with a homemade sauce. Wings are on point too. Wedge salad is crisp, hearty, yet refreshing with house made fixin's on top

Remedy is the answer for people who are sick of the run down south bend late night bar scene. The atmosphere is the best on that side of town period. The staff and customers are several steps above your average South Bend mediocre establishment . Finally a place in not embarrassed to meet up at when my friends visit from out of town. Great job with turning around a place known for failing due to failed concepts and parking. Genius.
