This restaurant was a 10/10. We had the rare chance to enjoy a date night, and we had the most amazing time. The service was top-notch, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was superb. We’re visiting South Bend this week, and it’s Restaurant Week—so we opted for the blind tasting menu.
We were hesitant at first since we usually like to know what we’re going to eat, but we’re so glad we kept the reservation and went. Their wine list is also spectacular. We had the La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 904 (2015), which was absolutely delicious; we recommend having it decanted about 40 minutes before drinking. We also had a couple of burnt honey rye Old Fashioneds, which were fantastic.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary again at Roselily. It was the start of restaurant weeks in south bend and we had the 6 course tasting menu tonight. Phenomenal! Excellent service from Rob, the Sommelier Andrew, fantastic as always with his pairings and suggestions. The chefs hit every course perfectly. If you haven't been here, you must stop in, especially during restaurant weeks for spectacular deals. You will walk away impressed by the food, but especially woth the service! Great job everyone, you made our 5th anniversary specall!

This continues to be our absolute favorite dining experience, not only in this region, but anywhere. The food, service, and experience are all something we feel very lucky to have in South Bend. Chef and his team understand that the small touches matter and they are intentional with how they go above and beyond. Do the chef’s tasting with wine pairings - you won’t regret it. Mention dietary restrictions when you make your reservation and they accommodate them beautifully, without you ever feeling like you missed out on the overall chef’s tasting experience. If anything, chef’s experience enhances it. Now that we have a toddler, we don’t get our date nights the way we used to, but any chance we get, Roselily is the only place you’ll find us. 20/10! ✨

Took my wife for her birthday and went w the 6 course, Chef selected menu paired with the wine course. Everything was outstanding. Amazing experience. Just a classy experience from beginning to end. Truly enjoyed the experience and the menu signed by the staff was a nice touch! We’ll be back again! Great job!!

Celebrated our engagement here and did the vegetarian chef's tasting w/ wine pairing. We were blown away by the flavor and creativity of each course. Our server Alex was fantastic and made the night more memorable by giving us a printed out menu featuring all the courses we had and signed by many of the other staff. Absolutely phenomenal experience. We can't wait to go back!

Chellee’s emotional intelligence and Sam’s charm made us feel truly cared for. The food and drinks were fantastic—and when my husband jokingly asked for fries (not on the menu), they actually made some from scratch! That kind of thoughtfulness made the evening magical. We left with full hearts, full bellies, and stronger friendships. Highly recommend!

Roselily in Downtown South Bend provided an exceptional dining experience while celebrating a special occasion. This beautiful and intimate establishment offers a cozy yet refined space, with romantic lighting and a perfectly crafted ambiance.
Our server, Maddy, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us toward excellent selections throughout the evening. Each dish was impeccably crafted and beautifully presented, with the main courses (chicken and fish) showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and stunning plating.
The cocktails and mocktails were equally impressive, featuring a robust selection, complemented by an extensive wine list. Desserts were truly stellar—so good, in fact, that they didn’t even last long enough for a photo.
This elevated dining experience commands the high price it deserves, so be prepared for the cost. We’re already looking forward to returning for a chef's menu dining experience in the future!

What an absolutely wonderful experience we had at Roselily over Notre Dame’s admitted student Rally weekend (April 3-5)! My husband and I ordered the carefully curated tasting menu with wine pairings and were completely blown away. The quality of the beautifully presented dishes as well as the selection of wines was exquisite. They have an excellent sommelier who has taken his knowledge and passion seriously and has curated a wine selection that has complex depth and character. The food was created by a kitchen full of well-versed chefs and cooks who have clearly found their calling. What a stellar group, helmed by a chef/owner who has meticulously carved out a little slice of perfection to share with those of us wise enough to blindly sit down at his table and let them lead the way. You will be rewarded with a beautiful journey. Servings like the incredibly fresh hamachi and perfect pillow-like agnolotti were delicate in texture, yet complex in flavor. I cannot end without mentioning our fabulous server. She was the real deal. Knowledgeable, attentive, and a joy to interact with! The entire staff was terrific! We’re eager to return during welcome weekend in the fall and share this gem of a restaurant with the rest of our family! Thank you for an incredible evening! ☘️
