This place has insanely good bread. I don't know what they changed since 2016, but it's 1000x times better. The flatbreads are huge and the mac and cheese looks absolutely incredible . I really hope they bring out the Italian Stallion as a regular item.

This place is really awesome. The atmosphere is great. Interior looks so nice. I had an apple cider beer and I thought it was pretty good. They've got a pretty decent selection for drinks and food but we only had drinks that day.Vegetarian options: They seem to have lots of vegetarian items.

Great family friendly spot... love the food, from salads to flatbreads and pretzels to soup... its all great. During the week I do a lot of meetings there, and lately on Sundays we take games up and play and enjoy a casual afternoon together. They have a stock of some card games and we bring extras.Kid-friendliness: They have a good kids menu and soda, and they have Uno and other card games available. During the summer kids can play corn hole on the patio and stay entertained.

Are you a friendly person that likes good, homemade food and lovingly brewed beers?  Do you like supporting local businesses that give back to their communities?  If so,  you should check out South Bend Brew Werks.  Their menu isn't huge, but they rotate through a nice selection of dips, desserts, beers, hummus, and potato salads. They have a good-sized outdoor patio that is pet friendly and they're a short walk from downtown South Bend and Four Winds Field. When we stop in as locals it's not unusual to find parents in town with their kids attending Notre Dame or Saint Mary's and many times they want to know more about South Bend.  It's open pub seating so it is possible to find separate couples or parties at opposite ends of their long picnic tables outside. They host trivia nights on Tuesdays, Music Bingo on Thursdays, and several other events throughout the week. They also host rotating artists each month, so the decor is always different and the pieces are available for purchase. To summarize, you can meet friendly people, eat fresh food, support local businesses and local artists all while sitting outside with your best friends (four legged, too!).  Give SBBW a try next time you're looking for sitting to do!

Cool place. Love the kareoke FridaysWaitress was niceFood was ok. I got the festini and wanted zucchini noodles but they forgot that and gave me regular pasta. The cilantro dressing for my starter salad was bomb. The cookie at the end was too dang sweet. The beer is good.

Solid sandwiches, great bear, wonderful appetizers. 10/10 service. Not first on my list of places to go in SB because there are a lot of options, but not a place to sleep on either.

Cool hangout. Definitely a place for the locals. Small town vibes. Food was good and came quick with awesome service. Beers were pretty limited but what they had was really good. Better to focus on your strengths than try and make everyone happy. Definitely check it

Very nice little brewpub on the outskirts of downtown. Kind enough to give sample pours for free and it's been quite a while since I've had a 100 IBU IPA, was very good.Very much worth swinging by if you're on town.Parking: Street parkingWheelchair accessibility: Ground level

Our only complaint was that the serving sizes were enormous. That's like the best thing to complain about, right? Honestly, my expectations were pretty low. It's just a little local brewery. I didn't think they'd have that great of food. But both my friend and I were saying the bread was really fresh and all the ingredients tasted really fresh. I never thought of that as a foodie destination but I definitely will be back. It's very chill and laid back and I love how the windows open. The service was super friendly. I don't even know who our server was because it didn't matter. Everyone there was helping with anything we needed.

Swung by this brewery on a road trip with some friends and can I say, it was quite the experience. Food was subpar and the meat in the nachos was dry and not flavorful. I did like the dill potato salad, however, and my friend and I agreed it was surprisingly the best thing we tasted that evening. There was karaoke happening at the time we stopped by for dinner and we were requested multiple times to participate while we were in the middle of dining. Overall, thankful to have had this dining option while on the road but it isn't a spot I would go out of my way to recommend to others.

Both the beer and the food were delicious. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Hubby enjoyed the Hef and I had the pomegranate gose which was pleasantly tart with a balanced sweetness, very refreshing on a hot day. Food was also good I had a flatbread with light fluffy almost biscuit like crust and hubby really enjoyed the chicken bacon wrap. Highly recommend for great beer and a cool place to hang out and enjoy good beer and food.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian food options including house made humus.
