We had a great experience here at the Airport Chocolate Cafe. The food was hot and fresh, cooked to order. We were starving before our trip and this definitely hit the spot!

Expensive, stale bagels. Before boarding a flight figured we'd grab a cheaper snack as opposed to a meal. Received two incredibly stale bagels for $9.63. That's pretty outrageous even for airport quality. Probably wouldn't have even written a review if they were great bagels. But these were so dry they just crumbled apart, like eating sand.

Solid service and staff. Menu items are always super fresh and made before your eyes. Pastries / salads / grab-n-go is too expensive, but fresh food made to order is reasonably priced. Iced coffee can't be beat, I get it every time sometimes even when coming back!!

What can you say about an airport cafe. For the size of the airport this is an ok cafe. Free refills on coffee if you have an extended stay like I did. Friendly staff, and a selection of foods. I like the free refills on coffee. Try the 4 horseman coffee. X Tra caffeine.

Great they open at 5 am and a nice selection of coffee pastries and hot sandwiches. Very reasonable priced for airport food.

As an airline crew member, I've visited this location multiple times. I recommend you pass on stopping here on your way in or out of South Bend. Somehow they make espresso taste like hot water, and their drip coffee does not taste at all like coffee. I'd compare it more to a hot coke tasting beverage. It's just not good. Half of the time you go, the staff is not interested in helping you or even talking to you. Before I decided to stop visiting, I regularly had to get someone's attention after standing at the ordering station for several minutes.
